Unable to buy more Cartel Coins

Oh...I did answer the top secret questions before i gave an unknown number of their staff all they would ever need to complete an identity theft.

So frustrating. I guess I'll have to buy game cards now for my Sub until they get this fixed. Maybe EA/BW should postpone the expansion and work on resolving all current issues.

Now that bugs the hell out of me....
The only time I would ask a customer to present their ID at a branch was when I had a suspicion that their bank info was compromised. I would ask the customer to pass by any of the banks branches , talk to a rep and have him call me. Now, there is no way in Hell that I would send my ID to someone I don't know and already has my bank info on his screen.
Im not saying that our info was compromised but since there hasn't been any real answer by EA I get a lil nervous, and lets face it , it happened with the PlayStation already

I really hate giving actors like this such sensitive information, and that's why I always prefer PayPal

Not saying any positive or negative 'bout their service and I don't mean to start a discussion 'bout it, but
having that info stored at one place and one place only and also knowing they know security.

Why it is also impossible for them to receive funds via a 3rd actor really beats me!
And why the security questions AND the security chip together with a 14 digit password is not secure??
Do the have an internal problem? What are they not telling?

Claiming security issues from a non secure site asking for the only additional info needed
to fulfill the information needed to actually become me in this electronic universe is
a little disturbing. And also wanting this via mail just to mess up any insurance from
your creditcard company.

Being a SITH, i will of course eliminate the source to a hypothetical problem before

Yeah, giving a copy to a stranger (or someone you know) can lead to YOU being held responsible for what he or she does with it. When asked for it you have the right to say no, if not the duty to say no. There is no reason they would need it.

If you have all the information needed to make a purchase, then BW/EA have no reason to suspect foul play. Now it's a different matter if your bank tells BW/EA there's something wrong, but then it's your bank who can take steps and still not EA/BW. When a payment fails to go through, that is when BW/EA can take action, but they have still no need to make sure you are who you say you are.

If they ask you for copies of your legal documents you can accuse them of attempted identity theft! Just hammer them with questions why they think they need it, and question their answers. They'll never win a real argument.

How does this work? Does EA sell cartel coinage on their main web site or what?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought I had read on another post here that someone bought EA gift cards and used it towards Cartel Coin purchase... I should probably just delete that part of my post.

Can be purchased a few places online and gas stations etc

I cannot find anything that says you can or can't use an EA gift card (guess it's the same as a SWTOR time card) to purchase coins. I did see that during the F2P launch, some retailers were selling Cartel Coin Cards, but that was a limited offer.

I hope they resolve this soon because my bank found no issues with my account/card. And I find it hard to beleve that the amount of people posting in this and other threads like it have issues with their bank accounts or CCs...

They really need to rename the locked thred started by BW from "Known In-Game Issues" to just Known Issues and add this lock out problem with people's billing information. Or at least recognize it as a known issue somewhere and stop telling us to call in as their phone support offers no help at all.
