Frequency of crashing – how many crashes, how often? Every hour or so of play

Spoiler

Rest of DXDIAG and Reliability Report following, warning from forum about char limit size
Check your bios as well you are losing 1Gb ram on remapping

I did do a reinstall and I'm still getting frequent CTD. Don't know what else to do besides play a different game.
Windows key + R type cmd
press enter
type chkdsk c: /f - do this for d: as well if you installed to a d drive
then in same command prompt
type sfc /scannow - this checks your windows files for corruption

The CBS log is fairly long so I doubt I can post it here.

Going to let the chkdsk do it's thing now.

Almost 5 months since this sticky was started and they don't have enough evidence to figure it out yet??

i think its a bit of a pride issue for them. Essentially.....people on this thread diagnosed it as a problem with the code a while ago, and after that the bioware posts pretty much vanished.

The last bioware post was in december and they offered a workaround for those who crashed in FLASHPOINTS.

So yeah, i think overall they seem to have either given up on us here or are so far in the closet on the problem they won't even think it could possibly be them. I could be wrong though of course.

That's kind of a terrible way to treat your customers.

So chkdsk ran and didn't come back with any issues. Just got another CTD. So if it really is the client's fault there's really nothing for me to do except stop playing. I can't be signing up for groups and warzones if I'm crashing every 10-30 minutes. Which is a shame because I really was excited to play the next content patch.

If the CBS log is long that is a lot of corruption in the Windows files

sfc / scannow checks the windows installation for corruption

  1. Server: The Bastion
  2. Characters: all of them
  3. Frequency: about once every other day
  4. The's no pattern that I can see. It happens when I'm walking around, standing still, in or out of combat. The only thing I've found is during the Foundry flashpoint: hitting spacebar thru the initial conversation seems to greatly increase the chances of a crash when jumping to hyperspace.
  5. DXDiag:
    Spoiler
  6. Reliability Report:
    Spoiler
  7. It is indeed a CTD. However, most of the time there is no reliability report generated. Sometimes one of the swtor.exe processes is still running, sometimes not. I don't see a pattern.

One thing of note: I'm currently running the game oversized at 2560x1600 (16:10), mainly for better Frapsing. I'll try dropping back down to the native res of 1920x1200. Unfortunately the game will not run properly at 16:9 as I posted here several months ago.

Oh, here's the Crash.json info in case it helps:
Spoiler

Crash.dmp is a binary file and too big to post here anyway.
