I assume you have joined recently as problems were FAR worse at launch. Welcome to level 11s bolstered to fight level 50s in BM gear. RNG bags for gear drops. Absolute Sorc/Sage dominance pre 1.2. As for content, that is a problem in EVERY MMO. They can't make it as fast as we can run it and you have to find ways to keep yourself busy.

I can PUG just fine. That includes on alts like my recruit geared sage. I don't group on the opposite faction, sometimes I just like a change of pace. Doesn't stop me from winning. Sounds to me like this is a personal problem.

I would say 75% of 4 man premades are just as uncoordinated as PUGs. Sure they have voice comm for calling incomings and positioning in huttball, but you clearly haven't seen a good 8 man rated team go at it or you'd notice just how coordinated a team can be.

Heaven forbid you work strategically. You're basically asking to kill healers on demand by running a rotation. That isn't PVP. If they have a guard and you get taunted, then maybe the healer isn't who should be getting attacked. I'm sorry that you find the idea of selecting a target that makes the most sense or maybe, I don't know, interrupting the RIGHT heals boring, but most people think a straight DPS race is far worse. (side note, maybe that's why you need world PVP, to avoid any type of strategy to your fights)

Making stuns break on damage will kill operative/scoundrel as a PVP class. CC is an extremely frustrating aspect to any PVP environment, but I think this will cause more problems. Although, your idea does have some merit if put to use on certain classes. Warrior classes don't have a true hard stun, but they do have an AOE mezz that allows for strategic CC in objective PVP as well as an escape option if needed. If this type of philosophy were applied to most classes (JK/SW, Inq/Cons, PT/VG, and Sniper/GS), then it might make the overall experience better. I'd say Merc/Commando can still have a hard stun until they get a damage boost and Op/GS obviously need theirs.

Actually, I got my first battle master / war hero set before recruit gear was even there.

I got my second toons bm/wh set with mk-1 set.

I got my third toons bm/wh set with the mk-2 set.

Healing is fine. learn to lock down a healer. You aren't supposed to kill a healer being healed by another healer and guarded by a tank. Start to watch whats going on and not just your hotbar. This isn't attack on you on your skills, but understand some match-ups are hard for a reason. 2 healers and a tank can outlast 3 dps just whacking the crap outta one person.

Fix resolve? Easy. Put roots on the resolve bar system. Watch how fast everyone becomes immune to resolve and people start using it carefully and not just spamming the crap out of it. heres a good example:

Juggarnaut leaps to player, rooting him. Pushes him back, leaps to him again. Full resolve bar now.

Several classes have abilities that can CC a person for over 6 seconds combined. If your stunned/rooted for 6 seconds, you should have resolve bar max for atleast 12 seconds to counter-act this.

CC's are obnoxious. Resolve may "work fine", but the system itself blows.

A lot of CCs already whitebar you.

Far as the "guardian," you need to look on the buff bars. If there's, for instance, a PT with a silver buff above his health, he's the guardian. But you don't really want to attack him. Capable healer can heal through about 3 people focusing a high health tank spec anything for quite a while. What you want to do is push him away from the healer, then destroy the healer while he's out of range. Now, this doesn't work against an op healer because they'll vanish or cc all of you (etc) unless you've got coordinated stuns, but that the op's nigh-unkillable guarded or not wouldn't be solved by increasing the length of his one-ish channel heal either.

Coming from the view point of someone that has just started playing the game a month ago, The PVP sucks hard even compared to other mmo's. I agree 100% about 1 thing and thats pugs need to fight pugs while the premade's need to fight other premade's. I think over all I have been on the winning side of about 25% of all the PVP matches I have been in. You can easily pick out the groups that are premade vs the pug groups. I have been on the recieving end of some very epic @SS beatings. It makes me not want to play the game and I do log off after about 2 pvp matches when I am playing against a team of 3 healers and no matter what you do even when your entire team attacks one point and you can't kill anyone cause they are just healing non stop and you get chain stunned and die before you can even attack someone. Sometimes I admit it has to do with skill but sometimes even coincidence like going against that many healers with a "super" tank you can't even dent with 4 people beating on him over and over then something is a little off. I play on the "Jedi Covienent" server and after reading through the boards and each server being different I can say if you are republic you aren't going anywhere on my server. I have talked to some people and there is a group I guess that just PVP's and is on the republic side, just a huge mix or random guilds, That just PVP nonstop making it a horrible experience for anyone on the empire side. If you want that much PVP that's why they made PVP servers.

But like I said as a new person the PVP alone makes me not enjoy the game and I know I am not alone. If people that have been playing awhile dislike it then how do you think a new person just learning the game is going to like getting pwned every match before they just stop logging in. Yeah the Que may get longer if you split the pugs from the premades but I would rather have a longer que then no que at all cause no one wants to play PVP.

******Way way too many stuns. ********* The higher the level of competition the worse it gets. Other than that any type of matchmaking system, even a very basic one would be nice.
