my in game server lag three weeks ago was stable at 60ms despite a 40ms ping using speedtest.net

since that weeks update, my lag has become unbarable. last night it was 220ms, making it impossible to play any end game op content....which is the whole point of max leveling in the first place.

what irritates me the most is that this is a KNOWN issue, i submitted an in game ticket and received the canned technical support FAQ.......3 times. terrible customer service. the clever droid reply has gotten old.

last night, just for kicks, i started a new character on another server (this one west coast rp) and server lag was 60ms. obviously i did nothing to my computer or to my hardware. just for grins i logged back into my usual server and created a new character....of the exact same class, sex, and race....and server lag was back to 220ms and higher. it's clearly a server issue on EA/Bioware's end.

since many of us have guilds again on the servers we all migrated to a few months ago...I'm sure no one wants to have all of their characters moved to a server that they can actually play end-game content on.

at this point you've had hundreds of replies on this thread, I can't imagine the flood of tickets in game....maybe it's time to stop claiming you aren't responsible and find a solution. especially since most of the people who are complaining are those who are paying for a service that doesn't seem to exist.

there is obviously a problem with your game servers. let us know you're at least acknowledging that you understand YOU have the problem and that YOU are working on a solution. star wars fanboy/girls have only so much patience.
