You happened upon a case where the numbers were close enough that you could attribute it to a few people logging on or off. I have switched instances many times where the numbers were in the 200s before I switched and then in the next instance they were only in the 60s.

I have seen it correctly reflect my instance and I have seen it reflect multiple instances as well. So far I have not seen a pattern as to when/why. Just a bug they will eventually get around to fixing I'm sure.

And expansions are only the norm for one game, btw. Most MMOs only do regular updates. That's not completely true, especially for MMO's that have Subscription or Subscription / F2P hybrid... F2P is like driving on a long stretch of highway with toll booths every 1/2 mile

They say that you should never say never but I'm pretty confident that we'll never see a Swtor expansion.. They might release some bigger digital patch but we'll never see an actual expansion on disc in stores.

I expect nothing less than a space expansion of EvE proportions. At least 5000 Star Systems and one Joystick. With Star Citizen Alpha and Stars of Barathrum reviving the Space Sim Genre, even more so.
