I don't think so... I'll have to do some more research, but Vaapad was developed by Mace Windu as a completely seperate form. It may bear similarities to Juyo, but Vaapad itself is different from Vaapad.

Have to check on that though.

EDIT: Okay did some research. Vaapad and Juyo are both variants of Form VII. Juyo is the base of Form VII and Mace Windu expanded upon Juyo and created Vaapad. He used Juyo as a base and modified it to create Vaapad. So we were both right from a certain point of view.

7. Juyo
8. Vaapad

Vaapad and Juyo are rare forms to be used by Jedi. There are certain forms that Jedi do not use that because they are very agressive and heavily rely on emotions.

And thank you!
Juyo and Vapaad are for some reason counted the same,
Hapan: "This creature has information that could lead us to a woman who has been kidnapped. We will get that information."
Luke: "This woman is a citizen of the New Republic, and if you do not take your hands off her, I will take your hands off you."

That's because Vapaad is an adaptation of Juyo. Both are very aggressive and bring the user close to the darkside, but Vapaad's strength is that it uses the opponent's aggression/ closes to the dark side against them.

They are considered the same. But, in my opinion, Vaapad is a different form. Vaapad is based off of the principles of Juyo, but with adaptations made by Mace Windu and, to a lesser degree Sora Bulq.

EDIT: So I will be making a seperate thread discussing Vaapad.
