i joined delusions durring my week of vacation right before thanks giving. this is my first mmo and this guild is NOW making this a very satesfying experiance. their philosophy of family and life first is amazing. ive seen soo many people in guilds that are only consernd about progression raids or pvp, but delusions understands that a video game ISN'T a part-time job. everyone has been very helpful and forgiving. with me being new to mmo, my first lvl 50 was fun but a struggle, until i joined delusions. now its just a blast. we have many players willing to help with their 50s durring your rise to becoming a hero. i know i am. if your new to TOR and want a GREAT guild i strongly suggest browsing the guilds site. www.wehavedelusionsofgrandeur.com or if you have a guild and your tired of the constant a-holes being mad cus you dont have time to pvp or run an hm or your equip isnt all dread guard... look us up. this guild has made me glad that i bought the game

This is a thread showing how great our numbers are, and the growth we're experiencing. It's posted in the GUILD RECRUITMENT forum. No further questions, your honor.

I'm not going to go on about how great we are because I find that to be a bit pompous. But I will say this - I've been in a few guilds, and I've never had more fun with this game until I met these folks. Try us, you may like us.

We have 1 full time Progression Raid Team (only looking for alternates on rDPS right now - i think), a leisure night that was just able to clear HM KP on it's first try (not over-geared either!), and a strong core of under 50 and level 50 PVPers. If you can't find someone to chill with on our guild, well.. i don't know.

We offer a teamspeak server for everyone to use, and I think our vacant vent server is still up; but we've all migrated to TS after experiencing how great it can be.

SWTOR is my first MMO. When I first started I did all the noob things. Rudely ninja objectives, click and keyboard turn, I had no idea about proper gearing and rotations.

Delusions of Grandeur was a great guild for me because the officers were seasoned MMOers who didn't mind showing a noob like myself the ropes and teaching me all the subtle cultural things that go on in an MMO.

I've also had the opportunity to do 8 man operations and hard mode flashpoints for gear, and the guild tends to be very helpful when it comes to using a couple of well geared members to pull fresh 50s through flashpoints for better gear so the fresh 50s can start raiding sooner.

What I like best about this guild though, is the supportive real life first attitude everyone has. Many of our members are in their 20s to late 30s. Many also have spouses and children and plenty of real life responsibilities to juggle. Everyone is very understanding if something comes up and you can't raid, and we have enough people that when something happens there is usually someone willing to sub in so the group can go on.

Funny story, a member's wife actually went into labor during a raid, suffice it to say he had to leave, but we were able to switch him out and move on.

If you are looking for the tip of the spear most elite raiding guild out there then I admit we aren't for you.

But if you are looking for a group that takes progression raiding seriously but also respects your need for a balanced life, and if you're looking for a guild that values its members and has fun, and if you're looking for a guild that is happy to take the time to show people new to the game the ropes, then we might be the guild for you.

I wanted to welcome Roshyn and Marciano to the team! Growth just continues. Its so fun to log on at any moment to have many guild members on and ready to do just about anything. It's a great community we have developed. Thank you to all!
