Some times its not just as easy as "Flip the power breaker Bob, we'll get these guys up in 5 minutes"

Having been "That Guy" that has impacted hundreds of thousands, if not millions of customers in a single outage - the last thing you want to do is explain what happened, how it happened and why it took you so long to get it fixed. And you really don't want to have to sit on a conference call all day/night explaining it over and over again to your vice president who then reports to his boss and his boss and on and on it goes. Lets face it, we all report to someone.

Life goes on, you'll get your daily refund. Its Friday morning, and as much as I'd love to be playing right now - meh. I'm sure I can waste time on facebook, read a book or even go for a walk.
Actually its 7-8pm for the uk and Europe so prime time so why it may be morning for the west coast of the states, its stopping us playing prime time, while i know that these problems are sometimes unavoidable please dont say, Its friday morning like its no stress, remember it is effecting people on the otherside of the pond

Sure stuff happens but when the same stuff happens over and over again, you gotta start to think someone doesn't have a clue what they are doing!

This has become quite silly now. It is embarrassing when we start assuming the servers will be down for an extended amount of time because BW is "making a little change that won't affect xxxxx".

Think I'll go play Clone Wars Adventures! At least it's running, gets weekly updates, I have Golden Mando Armor and a Purple Crystal for my lightsaber! (And I'm sorry, but Stunt Gungan beats Hutt-Ball any day!).

Give The Servers the Blue Pill and Lets GO!

Awesome!
How many times SWTOR servers went down (I am not talking about scheduled maintenance)?

My personel guess is following:

Cleaning personal didn't take the security advice all to closely and decided to clean the server wet. They tripped over a bucket which caused, short circuiting a high voltage cable and blowing up a set of uninterruptible power supplies, each the size of a big armoire. The last of which just sent a heavy pulse of electricity through the net before it went down. But: The server room is still mostly clean now.

What's your guess?

People don't kow who that is any more. Peter Falk is just some Grandpa in The Princess Bride to them. If they even bother to stop and read his name in the credits.
Generally people aren't half as good at PVP as they think they are. Except me. I'm Better.

LOL or cleaning personnel accidentally disconnected something and now playing dumb... "I didn't do anything"
