Games that are persistent and have gear with stats will always be gear-based games. Gear makes up for most of the reason why you get beat by someone else in gear-based games, skill makes up the rest of it. You're not saying anything new. This isn't an FPS, this isn't an RTS, this isn't Street Fighter 4000. This is an MMO. Might as well complain about how terrible the storyline is in PacMan or why there's no pass interference in NFL Blitz.

1) Then why don't those disgruntled people form their own guild to raid with?
2) Sorry, but immaturity, narcissim, and backstabbing don't just happen to raiders, or "12 YO cellar dwelling..." people. If you think that, then you haven't been in the work force long enough.
3) I'm pretty sure FPS's that you love to promote are chock full of the same levels of maturity. You'll get the civilized ones who will say "gg", and the others that will sit on your face as they call you a noob.

There may not be twitch-based skill, but there is skill nonetheless. I've seen healers barely break a sweat in HM EC and I've seen others struggle to keep a group alive in False Emperor. I've seen a dps solo Chasing the Shadow (with healing pet) and I've seen another unable to kill their Infernal Council member despite wearing black hole gear. Player skill impacts this game.

I suppose you're right, but I found plenty of threads on this forum and on others (mmo-mechanics) that were very helpful at getting good at my class.

It takes a weak or two to build up enough BH comms to get a single piece of gear Raiding is and always has been the easiest way to get gear.
I'm sorry you've had bad experiences with raiding groups. I actually made good friends with several of the people I've raided with. I imagine that we'll probably stay in touch for a long time as we've had a good time doing group content together.

Fair enough.

POS Flashpoint? Are you saying this because you weren't skilled enough to beat it?

Lost Island is my FAVORITE flashpoint. I run it because it is fun and the only one that is challenging. I also like to bring new guildies through it, especially if they've had troubles with it in the past -- they have a sense of pride and accomplishment beating LR-5 for the first time.

Look, if the game isn't fun, then stop playing it. But are you really saying that the extra BH comms were the only reason you kept playing?

It's a moot point considering the issue at hand is a confirmed bug.

During our progression raid nights we were raiding 2 nights per week for a total of 2.5-3 hours. Once we had it on farm (ie cleared it in a night) we were finishing it in 90 mins, 2 hours tops.
Scheduling 2 hours a week shouldn't be hard even for the most casual of players.

I turned in the Rakghoul Confilcts weekly yesterday and was rewarded with 8 Black Hole commendations. Works fine for me!
