Actually, you're quite wrong there. Carthy's doesn't get hated on as much as Mosh - both of them are similar in some ways and different in others. I know this because I have played with them both. I play on Pub when I get bored of winning on imp. (Yes that's not me being mean. Pubs are terribad theses a day and most of the time its two guilds -mostly MVP and GIMP trying to carry their pug and failing in the process.)

Mosh is a good guy when he's not carrying a bunch of abysmal pub - when he does he gets really nasty. From my observation I would say Mosh takes PVP a lot more seriously (perhaps a tad too seriously) than Carthy, and lashes out when someone on his team is under performing. He's also a lot less forgiving, probably because he regards himself and his team professional players. Again, deny it all you want but they're good enough to be.

With Carthy it's different. His standard is a lot lower than Mosh and he gives credit where it's due a lot more than Mosh. You don't have to be Mi'ri or Kramer to be on his list of good player. Why does he gets hated on so much? Because - unlike Mosh who trash talks pretty much everyone - he trash talks the those who aren't capable of acknowledging others. He trash talks the trash talkers as well as the ones who deserve them. And these people are the ones who are usually more vocal about about their own butt-hurt, who regard themselves as exceeding competent and can't stand it when someone think otherwise.

Being an mvp player myself ( and yes I consider myself an mvp player as well as a caker), I honestly believe most people here are great when you get to know them. Dom, Shaddle, Sofe, Ewa, Jwalsh, Mosh ( to a degree)... but then again there are people who think they're a bunch 15 years olds with USI.

Which isn't true.

People think Carthy is arrogant, but he actually isn't. He's never called himself a pro PT and the stuff he said - the dps and how he was the single most focus fired dps ever graced the wz on this server - is all fact. he actually flat out told me tons of other PT/Vanguards are better but they never get any mention.

Honestly, they're all okay people if you'd just give them a chance and the credit they deserved. I say this because I have interacted with both side, and with the players whom I didn't like. After taking a little off time from the game I realised good or bad, these are the people who are carrying the warzones in general. They all deserve to unreserved credit in post such as those.

But I know my tl;dr post most likely won't change your mind so continue to think Carthy is a bad PT and a prik or Mosh is a bad sent ( it may seem incredible to some of you but there are people out there who really do think Mosh is bad). Just so you know, you're making a fool of yourself because their performance - both their scores and their team rating - pretty much proves you wrong. Carthy's got the highest warzone rating and win/loss ratio on the entire server , averaging 700k dps per full wz and 90% per rated win.

I'm sure a lot of mvp players would have been the same as well if they don't pug rated with randoms.

Saying crap like "lyacon (amazing dps but never any game changing moments) and Carthy (when he's getting pocket healed) " basically discredit your entire post and it does not surprise me at all why Carthy chose to be a douch-e to you. I've never seen any imp player who actually does this and it baffles me why so many pub players make posts such as those. If you don't think they're good, don't list their name. Nobody would care. If you list their name, don't put a bracket and list condition there. You're basically asking to get flogged. :P

Ok, only posting this due to peer pressure, (felt bad my sorc was mentioned so much and I hadn't posted)
My post is a little different because I don't rate players the way others do

Sorc - Whisp, because he reads the map and knows how to play + pumps out awesome dps
Assasin - Saedus, Flash'gordon, they both know how to take me out of the game
Merc - Daffydil, cross healing with her is boss hardly ever go down
PT - Carthy, he knows how to co-ordinate with others to take down a target
Marauder - Lycaon, same reason as carthy, they both hurt
Jugg - Andynul, Atrummos, great at protecting me and pro at huttball
Op - Ganj, because its funny to watch him bend people over b4 they have time to think
Mago, because he can hold off people for ages when defending a node solo
Sniper - Bulet, always gets stuck with the boring D jobs but does it so well

I only mentioned the Empire players because when I'm pvping the people on my team are the ones i notice, when I'm getting hit I don't think hey who's that player, they are great, i think ah ah ah ah kite kite kite heal!
I also added why I chose the people I did because F U that's why!

Oh and in keeping with the current theme of a measuring contest, mine is bigger than all of yours. Deal with it!

Actually being unknown has its benefits, like not being focused. Good life.

yeah, being a no one in pvp is great, I miss it alot

Being focused is great. Teaches you how to survive

But when your on a team of bads, its incredibly frustrating.
