It is better not to post in this thread since it is one sided and the OP is shamelessly bumping his own thread for weeks now

Kind of depressing that this is the world of today's gamers.

As opposed to what? The old one where gay jokes were the height of wit?

There was never a time gay jokes were the height of wit. You are making mountains out of mole hills and reading far to much into what is being said.

Your SGR will be on the back burner for awhile and it has nothing to do with sex. It has to do with money and paying a bunch of voice actors to add a few lines to stories that really isn't that big of a deal with most people. I am sure you will get it at some point where they need voice actors for more important updates. Really Flirt, flirt and black screen is going to be a big win for you........not

Apparently it's okay to create "extremely similiar threads" in separate forums AND bump them shamelessly as long as you support the subject material.

Um, I am not the one reading things into what is being said here. I started a thread asking about a point raised in an interview with a key SWTOR developer. Then people rushed in here to unload both barrels on SGRs in general. Not my idea, and not at all appreciated.

But this is not about two or three cutscenes and a FTB. It is about story, about my character getting to know the companion over time, from start to finish. And that entire story is different when it cannot be pursued in a romantic manner.

I don't imagine I will care to interact with every NPC that way. But for every one that I am indifferent to, someone else is deeply interested and neither I, nor you, nor anyone else loses anything by opening up that option for them.

I also do not know where you assume that this is on the back burner, or that resources have not been alotted for it. Have you even viewed the video and seen what Gabe says and thought about what that implies? Or are you simply lashing out blindly at something you think is unimportant, without taking the time to learn what is actually going on?

None of my threads are weeks old nor have I made many. Nor have I made any threads about SGR. I have no idea what you are talking about.

What makes you think you will get any story out of this? None of the companions have any story when it comes to romance. It really is Flirt, flirt and black screen. Won't be any different for SRG stuff.

It is common sense that resources will be better spent on other things and this will be addressed with some other update that needs voice actors. It would be foolish of them to pay a bunch of people for this when it isn't that big of a thing and not really interesting to most players.

What makes you think this is important? It is a minority group thing and I hope you get it but spamming the 1st page with this isn't doing your agenda any good

It is also very kind of you to just quote my 1st sentence so that you can make it appear I am something I am not. It is called quote mining and not a good thing to do

Seriously, people. Let's be civil here. Some people don't like the idea or don't care about the idea one way or another. Other people like or love the idea, and were surprised that it wasn't already implemented at Launch.

Here are the facts about BioWare and SGRs: Starting with KotOR, there was Juhani as a love interest for a female Revan. Then in KotOR II, there was the Luxa flirting with the female Exile. Neither of those were full-on SGRs, but the suggestion was there. Then came Jade Empire, and Silk Fox and Sky. Both bisexual characters that were OGR and SGR capable. Next up was Mass Effect with Liara for a female Shepard. The closest thing to an SGR in ME2 was Kelly with a female Shepard, up until Liara came back in "The Lair of the Shadow Broker" DLC pack. Dragon Age had two more bisexual NPCs in it. Leliana and Zevran. Dragon Age 2 had two more. Both also fully OGR and SGR capable. Mass Effect 3 had the first SGR Only characters in it. Now we come to TOR, and the fact that by now, SGRs are expected of BioWare. So, whether you're waiting patiently, impatiently, or you don't care or don't want it, they are expected to be in there. SGRs did nothing to hinder sales of the aforementioned games. Luckily, most people today are pretty tolerant. The question right now isn't IF it's going to happen. The question facing us is "When will they be implemented?"
