No, I think the Community Team has escalated our concerns and been told "No, and don't ask again. We will say when this can be discussed, period." But I do think it is precisely this sort of limitation that Jeff Hickman is leaning hard to be able to overcome.

Honestly. This topic is almost..unbelievable. This game needs absolutely nothing else added to it. Nothing needs to be fixed or smoothed out. Theres a thread about using a third party program to make the game playable for some people. Theres one about adjusting windows settings and turning a multitude of services off. Stuff about HAVING to buy a SSD to play the game smoothly.

The same rigs can play BF3 at high settings and games built on CryEngine -4 ( like mine) and can play Planetside 2 beta with a few hundred people running , driving , and flying around all the while shooting at people ..with explosions going off..and on high settings..(im cracking up as i type this) and its still a beta game..and have no lag or choppiness but can be laggy in Rep/Imp fleet.

yeah this sgr or whatever needs to be added and addressed..right now or everyone left in game will quit.
Sith lightning is just a rip off of Shaman lightning.

We haven't asked Bioware to stop fixing bugs - we've only asked for information over content they said they intend to release.

If Bioware can't prioritise fixing bugs over adding content, that's not our fault. Besides, the Community Team doesn't do the bug fixing or the coding, they merely escalate and convey information. Asking the Community Team to clarify Bioware's intent to add content into its own game is not the same as saying "drop everything NOW".

No one here is saying that, so quit saying we are. At best, it shows you didn't read the original post to learn what the thread is about. At worst, you are lying to distort others' understanding of the issue. Neither is a constructive approach.

I am asking whether Gabe Amatangelo was correct in supposing that same-gender romantic content will be part of the announced story content coming with the Makeb expansion. Not saying it needs to come now. Not saying I am going to quit. Asking "is this coming with Makeb?" That is it.

So stop bringing your own agenda into this thread and trying to make it about something it isn't.

On a tangental note, I see the stickied thread for asking questions to Lead Writer Hall Hood has been taken down, so it seems likely that answers to those questions will be appearing shortly. Thank you to everyone who asked about this aspect of coming story content. It was asked in 25% of questions posted. Clearly, this is a story-related issue people want to hear about.

My agenda. Thats pretty hilarious. If i had one and it involved real robust fixes to a game I'd like to see not just hang around for a niche group of poeple but get its subs way the heck back up then..yeah sure i'll claim that as my agenda.

But somehow wanting that is selfish and narrow minded on my part. Wanting this sgr isnt selfish at the least. I've been beaten and bested. I tip my trooper helm to you and take my foolish "agenda" elsewhere xD

Not "we may want to do that some day" but "will be a feature". Reid made that statement in his capacity as Community Manager, just as Daniel Erickson announced that the content would come this year in his capacity as Lead Writer at the Guild Summit. That is, two official statements from BioWare promising this content. I am sorry if that makes you unhappy, but the decision has been made. Now it's just a waiting game to see how and when.
Daniel eRickson also said there wouldnt be companion content with the same update...If you have been following the Q and A you wouldve known "by the end of the year" changed to "in the next year or so"..

Q:Will we see new story, new missions, and conversations for companions with the new level cap?

This is the kind of thing we have been asking to have clarified, in the thread dedicated to that, in story & lore. Some info is contradictory. We can only hope Hall Hood or Jeff Hickman can (and will) clear some of this up.

Who cares, this is a game. I'm a heterosexual in real life. In game, i'll play as a chic toon and romance the male characters. Sure they should add same sex romances, i'm always for new options, but this is not a priority at all. If you can't immerse yourself in the game, because you can't get the black screen of love with a character of the same gender, dating sim would be more suited for you.
