  • I would also like to see Start Ship Crafting as an added Crew Skill. I say this because if I want something like JTL they should also add the StartShip Crafting as well. One thing about SWTOR that I hate is the fact that we are stuck with just one option for our ship that our Classe can have. And the fact that there is only six ships to use is the game is a disgrace for a Star Wars MMO.
  • I would also like to see Creature Handler in the game. It was a fun Profession to play. At the very least let me have a pet Rancor in which I could say "Sick him boy!". Really though I just want my pet Rancor back a the very least.
  • Day and Night Cyles is also another thing I would like to see. I am a little surprised that SWTOR does not have it. It is a common feature in games nowadays.
You need to build a bridge and get over your first MMO.

Not even close. SWG was like tic-tac-toe compared to the complexity and depth of EVE Online.

Is completely free and emulates Pre CU (about pub 14 I think)....perfect for when I need something other than SWTOR to play. I'm having a blast and it brings back sooooo many great memories.

But yes if BW were to add some of the well documented sandbox features from SWG I would have no problem dropping a lifetime sub on SWTOR...

Ugh. Pre-CU was a boring piece of tripe. The combat system was okay, but the rest of it stunk. If they'd left the combat system, and added all the NGE stuff, it might have kept the original people, or more of them. I understand that it was impossible to balance though.

I much prefer the NGE with its enormous content, and larger variety of things to do. It was a more complete game that matured well.

It's the truth. When you look at sandbox MMOs, EVE Online is the most complicated and deep game ever made. SWG couldn't even begin to compare. Not even its "deep" crafting could compare with EVE's.

You've never actually been on Tranquility, have you? It's the largest MMO server architecture in the world. It hosts the largest battles in computer history.

Nothing is bigger presently, and it hasn't expanded at all. It's always been that size, players just had to explore.

They create more than Galaxies ever did. They wage battles over sovereignty. Of digital motes of nothing, quadrillions of ISK are lost.

Yeah, I prefer having a body, instead of being a ship. With the choice to be in space, not always have to be there. There are no planets to explore, no wondrous creatures, no vistas to behold.

It's been several years, and maybe it has gotten more interesting. I couldn't tell you since I haven't been back.

If you'd said Pre-CU SWG, I might have agreed.

Interestingly enough, EVE does now have planets and squad combat on the ground.
