1. Nearly every has said it but, space! Open space, exploring, and not on rails.
2. More war. I want to see NPCs fighting to the death, and opposite faction operations.
3. More galaxy spanning side missions. This was my favorite Element in KOTOR, (my favorite being the GenoHaraden, and their poisonous sword reward) and the HK-51 was a perfect example of this. Please please please bring this into TOR!
Ooh! In Elder Scrolls Online, I get magic spells and colossal PvP! That sounds cool, but one question, where do I get a lightsaber?

1 - cross faction friends lists - allowing both factions to be played on the same server makes it more difficult than it needs to be to keep track of friends and guildies.

2 - more huttball maps, same game but different maps. perhaps a league.

3 - more varied gear.

1. Lack of communication from customer service on long term bugs like the Alderaan Bonus Series bug.

2. The odd lag issues that seem to occur only on certain planets.

3. The lack of support for any quests aside from Class story quests.
"50 Grades of Shae", a heart-warming novel about a Mandalorian that delivers beat-downs and assigns grades to her victims.

1. Allow 16 toons per server. I want one of every AC.

2. Add more off-ship companion quests. I think each should have at least one quest chain that takes you around the galaxy.

3. Add the opening quest dialogue for FPs to the group finder via holo. I hate that I miss the opening when doing the FP through GF for the first time. Also, let us turn those quests in via holo as well.

1. Don't be afraid of your fourth pillar.

I know this is an MMO and that you can't reload if you've screwed up, but my impression with the questing and storylines is that you're actively wary of making the best use of your writing. Let me give an example from another, older game.

Planescape Torment, the quest to become a mage. Anyone who's played it knows what I'm talking about. By sheer mechanics, it's three basic fetch quests. You fetch the hedge witch her laundry, some ink, and some herbs, and then she teaches you magic.

But it's not about sheer mechanics. You talk to people throughout the city looking for the herbs and nobody can help. Except the man that's trying to make trees grow from stone by believing they can (this is Planescape, belief creates reality). He wonders if you can't make the seed you've been given grow into the herb you want by believing in it, and to complete the quest you will it so. The other two fetch quests are similar, and at the end you create your spellbook from the vine-herb, the ruined laundry and the fish-ink while you explain to the hedge witch the lessons learned from each quest and what they represent.

It's an amazing questline even though it's just three Fed-Ex quest because when you let your writing shine, all bets are off.

SWToR does this on occasion (the Revan-related content. People loved the Revan-related content except the part where it ended). BUT (particularly outside of class quests) it seems to shy away from innovation in implementing story very often, instead using it to justify pretty bog-standard MMO quests. It doesn't stand out enough. You have the expertise to make it do so. I mean, in beta you could kill your companions, or get a different title if you were dark or light (General or Master for JK). This is great! I don't want a Darkside Consular story where I can murder everyone in the everything and get the super-special warden title anyway.

2. Liven up your planets! You have the art, give us the atmosphere!

Coruscant is gorgeous. Your artists did a bang-up job with it. But for the beating heart of the Galactic Republic, it's so empty. I think there are less people in the Senate Tower than there are in the base on Hoth! I think you have the technology to let us talk to NPCs that aren't part of quests, let them walk around and do things. You've given us planets, now give us worlds.

The voice acting and cutscenes are fantastic, but the purpose behind them was to create immersion. Create immersion elsewhere too! Be that day/night cycle or roaming NPCs or varied NPC conversations. I mean, Mass Effect is more immersive because even though the guy asking for his refund is standing still, at least he's saying something different the second time I walk by. Make me feel like I'm part of a living breathing universe! I mean, for the love of pete, you can get your immersion broken as early as level 1 when the friendlies on Hutta start shooting at air after you've killed the enemies. On Ord Mantell, when you hear that the Separatist snipers are shooting civilians? Have them shoot some civilians.

I guess 1 and 2 are kind of related in that I'd like to see a story and world that a) reacts appropriately to your character and b) seems to have some life of its own when your character isn't directly involved.

3. Ship Customization.

Lesser than the first two, but I think nearly as important. My ship (and dark broody Darth lair) is super neat. But it's awfully sterile. It's instanced, though! Not only should I be able to change the exterior appearance, but the interior as well. I honestly think if you had the technology to do this you would make a killing on cash shop purchases for it.
