Yeah, when i group with giuldies who are good pvpers we fair a lot better.

Working on augmenting my BM atm, and getting my first few pieces of WH. I agree with not wanting any dev "easymode" i don't mind losing close matches.

Also, there is a bit of my skill which will simply require more experience to overcome the slight deficit that is scrapper pvp. But, tbh i like the idea of becoming pro with and underdog class than QQ'n for buffs/nerfs.

Thx for the feedback, gives me a clearer perspective of the truth of the situation. Me and some of my guildies who are kinda sick of Fatman Pugs and working on WH are trying to begin RWZ's. so at least if we lose we only have ourselves to blame
I didn't COMPLETELY take it as a QQ thread but I almost always lean that way... but in my defense. Look at the rest of the PvP forums.

I wasn't trying to talk trash in any way either... just giving you my perspective of what the problem really is. One thing I can say for sure is that it's NOT population. My server is VERY imp heavy and man.... so many of these guys are bad.

And yeah... I hear that. Ranked is an entire different ball game and I like the idea of only having ourselves to blame as well. There's nothing worse than having a pre-made of 4 good players getting shut down by the other 4 pugs on my team who chase 1v1 fights.

A lot of my guild is rolling new classes and gearing up for ranked season 1 as well... until then all we can do is roll with the punches.

As far as gear... that is not your problem either. On my server where wins can be tough some nights I still got my complete BM set in about 4 days. Augmented BM sets can be more than competitive against WH.

Your problem is the same as mine... you have a lot of bad pugs on your server and your faction. The solutions are simple and there is nothing in game that needs to be changed.

Fix #1: Roll the other faction
Fix #2: Roll another server
Fix #3: Find a guild or make friends. Your chances of winning increase greatly when you can control who half of your team is going to be. Take matters into your own hands and don't look to the developers to make an "easy mode" setting for you.

All that aside... I agree that cross server queues would be nice and very likely even out some of these win/loss ratios. But that's not a guarantee. Until then.... I suggest fix #3. And even when they do happen... I still suggest fix #3.
Hey it's the same person repeating himself! Welcome back to badger us! GW2 has balanced PvP and that's final.
I mean BEAware tried copying WoW, so why not them too?

On the TOFN server, it can go both ways.. depends on the team really. Some days its pretty bad on the pub side, but it can turn around against the imps too. People always look to others to blame for why their team lost a WZ, people don't realise they are actually not as good as they think, while calling everyone else a *n00b*.

experienced players cant win a game and carry people if people do not even bother to wear the basic minimum gear, or even try or care about objectives and see these people out in no man's land, trying to go solo. People do learn eventually, and will either improve and get better, or just stop playing and blame the developers, but either way if things are actually that bad for you, then I would go with the option of looking for premade teams from your friends list or guild, who you know, and can work with.

Some pugs can be good, but there's a lot of bad ones too. Its the luck of the draw really.

@pistols N E X U S is the guild. i'm Reynĝld
Yeah, premades help out a lot. I'm going to stick with it though because it is still a lot of fun.

I would love to see Bioware take a close look at GW2 pvp, from what little i've seen it's pretty amazing
What could be better than getting to kick a sith in the junk.

I'm also from Fatman and what I've noticed is that we frequent have several premades decked out in War Hero running around consistently through warzones. We just can't win.

Our weekly quest has become a 6-month quest. It's awful.

The biggest problem was/is the same faction warzones. Never should have been like that. There should have been downsides to rolling on the more populous faction not the benefits of being able to gear up against each other without any hinderance. Oh and Ilum, but I think everyone knows about that.
I believe in people bombing
I believe in people warring
I believe diseases coming
I believe that's why I'm running

On Prophecy of the 5 I've found the pubs have an advantage, that being if they queue two groups of 4 together they have a lot better chance of having an 8 man premade against natural pugs due to the faction imbalance.

It's actually an advantage imo.

Your the one trying to get my attention and I'm badgering YOU?

And let us do the math on that.... copy the game that has near 10 million subscribers.... or copy the game that has maybe a couple hundred thousand??? I don't even know the GW2 numbers but you see my point.

I wouldn't recommend getting into sales or marketing as a career.

I'm Pub mostly. Won 7 of 7 last night...then lost 1 - all PuG'd groups. I'd say that now that the gear gap has shrunk from the Illum debacle, the Pubs are doing fine, just depends on the players.
All warfare is based on deception. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected. If his forces are united, separate them. If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near. A leader leads by example not by force.
