Character Naming Q

I just started playing this game recently and I have seen many people running around with a ' in their name. I've tried creating a new toon with a unique, awesome name containing that character and it keeps telling me "Invalid name." I know that no one else could have the names I've tried, and I'm pretty sure it would say "Unavailable" if they were taken anyway. Has this feature been removed? And if so, why the heck was it taken out?! It's a lovely way to make creative and unique names, and I'm rather unhappy at the thought that it might have been permanently removed. =(

It's still possible to use, I don't think you can have one at the start, end or have 2 in a row though.

You are allowed one ' and one - in a name but neither can be at the start or end.

I'm pretty sure that "Invalid Name" is the response for any name that you can't use, for whatever reason. If you really want to try it out, try using a name that's valid but already in use by someone you see running around on your server.

I've seen character last names with two apostrophes, but those are the names of the players' Legacies. The naming rules are likely different there.
