it mostly happens on Fleet but that may be because most of my characters are there crafting.

I have repairied several times and reinstalled the entire game. But I still keep having problems with the game crashing to desktop. The game will often freeze and goto a loading screen while I am just trying to move or interact with mail or bank on fleet. some times it comes back and recovers but often it crashes to desktop. The crash to desktop is not limited to freezing situation and sometimes the game will directly crash to desktop.

Greetings Ichimi,

If you could please provide us with a rebliability report.

Open your Start menu and type "view reliability history" into the search box.

Select the most recent swtor.exe failure, denoted by the red circle with the white X in it.

Double-click the related Critical Event under Source.

Please post the full information of the reliability history within

tags

Thank you.

Hello again Ichimi,

Could I request that you please try the following:
  1. Please ensure the client is closed.
  2. Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time. (The [Windows] key is the key with the Windows icon on it)
  3. Copy the following in to the text box and press ok: %localappdata%\SWTOR\swtor\
  4. Open the settings folder and then open the client_settings.ini file
  5. Ensure the following are displayed within, or edit/add if so required:
    • Fullscreen = false
    • D3DFullScreen = false
    • RefreshRate = 60
  6. Save and close the file.
  7. Start the game as normal.
  8. Change graphic settings within the game as desired.
Please let us know how you get on.

Hello Ichimi,

Please do so, I certainly hope that helps resolve the issue for you, but if not we shall of course investigate further and endeavour to find a solution.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
