It is disappointing that not even this cancel option is visible. Instead of wishing to lure more customers into payments, I will not subcribe for a long period simply because of this kind of tactics. And yeah, I don't mind paying.

If I was a preferred status player before becoming a subscriber, do I go back to preferred status or free to play?

Subscribers who cancel, regardless of their status before subbing, should always go to Preferred. (IIRC)

I know how to cancel the subscription but do you get your money back?

Canceling just means you will not be billed for the next cycle in your subscription.

You don't.

If you've been incorrectly charge, you might want to phone their support line (they cannot and will not deal with billing issues on the forums or via email), but if you haven't they'll just tell you tough luck.

So this is an ancient thread, but hey it's all I can find on cancelling. I just cancelled my sub and got:

Current Subscription:
One Month Recurring Subscription
Next billing date:
Subscription Canceled
Payment method:
NONE
Subscription end date:
31 Mar 2015

This seems to imply that I'll be charged again for March. I "canceled" the account by removing my card info from the page as I saw no other way to stop the charges, if that has something to do with it. I guess I'll have to call to confirm they don't charge again...

All in all, a pain in the @** process.

Looks Straight forward

One Month Recurring Subscription <---- What your current sub is ( ends 31 Mar 2015 )
Next billing date: <---- There isn't a next billing date
Subscription Canceled <---- Says Cancelled
Payment method:
NONE <---- No card info on file
Subscription end date:
31 Mar 2015 <---- your current sub ends on this date
