Greetings everyone,

Thank you to all users who have responded so far and have assisted with providing information over the past few days. We appreciate your patience while we investigated this issue.

For users that have been suffering this issue, we’ve uploaded a new version of the Installer with the latest version of the Launcher. The fastest and safest way to get back up and running is to download the installer (www.swtor.com/download) and run it, choosing the “Restore” option. This will update your Launcher to the current version and break you out of the Launcher patching loop.

We continue to investigate this issue so that you will not suffer the same problems for future Launcher updates.

Instructions:
  1. Close any launcher.exe processes in Task Manager
  2. Download the latest Installer from www.swtor.com/download
  3. Run Installer
