I don't have any problems on my server and please don't be so insulting to tell me otherwise.

EA realized months ago that SWTOR was dying. EA is not going to invest anything into fixing this game. What they are going to do is make promises and drag it out for as long as the fanboys keep subscribing.

They are cutting costs left and right. They are reducing their workforce. They are reducing the hardware needed with soon to come forced transfers.

Go look at EA's library of titles released over the years and you will see that games with problems are never truly fixed. Even when they know a game is broke the game will stay on the shelf and be sold to people.

We know they have let go many programmers and yet they are promising subscribers all this future content. Ask yourself how can that be possible if hardly anyone is employed to work on coding these additions? This is the EA MO. This is the business model they have had in place now for years. It's all about lying and misleading consumers into buying promises.

The main reason this happens is because nobody has dragged EA into court with a lawsuit and won anything substantial. There is no consumer agency protecting consumers from being sold lies by software companies and there is no punishment for these dishonest practices.

It's the only industry I know of that that you cannot get a refund for a bad product. Software companies like EA have been using that fact to fleece consumers for years now.

There were tons of threads about them months ago. BW closed a lot of them down.
I myself had a very detailed one that got closed.
One such fundamental flaw is the game engine slows to a few fps when there's more than 30 people at once, this eliminates the possibility of open world pvp.
This is just one of many fundamental flaws.

I have to chuckle a bit about how some people come up with their opinion on how 'the game is dying'...like last night at 4:45 am on a NA server people are complaining how there is only like 50 people on the fleet or something...during the day and peak hours, there is well over 200 or more. Some people don't realize that the majority of people have to sleep or work...it's hilarious, what did they want, 1000 people on in the wee hours of the NA morning?

Some said they were Australians, which, ok, that's lovely and everything, but honestly, how can they expect a NA server to be overrun with populace at that time of day?

At launch, with over 200 servers at heavy to full... "The game is perfectly healthy!"

A few months later, 1 server at heavy to full, over 180 servers never above light... "The game isn't dying, honest!"

Another couple months later, massive server transfers and 26 servers at heavy to full at primetime "See? The game is perfectly healthy!"

Now, as a handful of those 26 servers start trending down to STANDARD... "As much as you want to wish it were dying, sorry to say, it's not. Not even the magic genie could make that wish happen."

We don't wish for the game to die. We wish for EA to do whatever it takes to keep it from the death we see on the horizon.

With launch pop caps initially set so low that full back then would equate to light now. If you really don't wish for the game to die and really wish for EA to do whatever it takes to keep it from the death you see on the horizon, then why continue assaulting it? Why not just go play the game?
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

Oh so the servers aren't losing people, bioware just keeps increasing the server cap?

I play the game just about every day and obviously my sub is still active. What was your point again?
