Good joke. You forget the WoW fan boys. You forget just because people will be leaving to gw2 that this game is better? This game is good but nothing out of the ordinary. Just great story and voice overs.

If endgame is something like exploring towns, doing puzzle events to get chests, partaking in World vs World vs World battles with 3 entire servers against eachother, or Structured pvp tournaments then hell yeah GW2 has end game content.

The best part about GW2 is, it isn't a boring grind fest with a carrot on a stick, all end game armor is purely cosmetic and doesn't require a 6 month grind to be competitive.

The main reason the MMO genre is so stagnant these days is because everyone wants just a carbon copy of the last big MMO ie: raids, grinding dailies and dungeons, that's boring. I can't speak for you but I'm burnt out on raiding and grinding dungeons. I want a world that is worth exploring and FUN things to do. Guild Wars 2 developers have captured this feeling and they don't even require a sub fee.

What end game content does SWTOR have this is so super awesome and worthy of your 15$?

um ev sm, kg sm, denova sm lol and all the future sm op's that come out that progress the galactic story that is star wars.

Its funny that your tired of raid daily grinding endgame, yet choose to flip the coin and say that gw2 end game pvp is more then what is offered in swtor.

to also refer to you talking about the cosemetic gear in gw2 and how it appereantly takes 6 months for people to get their gear in swtor. I myself have been wearing the cademinu (how ever its spelt) sniper set since I got it at like month into my game. Just upgraded the mods as I leveled....my character has looked the same since level 28 (I believe)
Do, or do not...There is no try

I believe this game is better an I won't be going to even try gw2.
Just like some believe in a " " and won't try any other " "

I never said this game was bad, it's a great game. Just so much repeative stuff, nothing "outstanding." I took a look at 1 video about GuildWars 2 and was quickly hooked. Played the beta, and had way more fun then I ever had in this game. And that was only 3 days.

But you know its beta, its a new game. Its B2P, So if I don't like it I can always come back. No loss, I can play both. I enjoy both games but Guild Wars 2 more.

A lot of MMO's have a great story, and some have voice overs. Those 2 stand out in Swtor. That's about it.

You are paying 15 bucks a month to fund their servers which they can easily maintain on their own. Guild wars has released 95 plus updates in the time it has been played and over 3 expansions I believe with no P2P model. Guild Wars 1 successfully had a F2P MMO for a good 8 + years I believe it was and they survived very well I may add for a long time. Even now as I log on my account the game is still busy with people doing things. A F2P model brings a lot to the table. You get more people playing because of no worry of paying a fee every month. Wasting money when they can't play because of maintenance and such. (Guild Wars 2 seems to solve the maintenance problem by doing it while you play which is awesome.) Yes the money you lose from it is very minor but it builds up over the months/years.

A F2P is a better model for both sides and a lot of MMO developers are considering it more and more each day. Look at Aion and Rift. (Sure they aren't that great of games but they still have a big playerbase). Also LOTRO is still doing well as far as I know.
F2P is the worst model for the consumer. It ends up being more expensive than P2P because you can quickly rack up more than £10 a month's worth of garbage. Not to mention they always nickle and dime. Then there are the lockboxes you have to pay to unlock, which, interestingly, is some form of gambling, so not technically legal everywhere. Maybe someone should raise that issue.

I don't get all the sha baam about gw2, and it being the next holy grail. I've played the 1st one since it pretty much came out, along with its expansions, it was never touted as a "mmo killer", nor do I see 2 being a mmo killer.

I'm certainly going to play it though, kind of a no brainer, a sequel to a game I've been playing for years. In no delusional way what so ever do I see it competing with the king of the mountain, or even a game such as tor, with its massive budget and names behind it(Lucas, Star Wars, Bioware, those are some pretty big names!)

I'll stop ramblin', no one really gives two ***** lol.
