People act rude or need on Bio alloy's? I ignore them and they dont get the priviledge to group with me again, simple as that.

Wanna watch the cutscene's and enjoy the story? Please, do that on your own time. You are in a random group of people who are trying to complete an objective together. This isnt you and your guild having a good ole' time. Wake up and play, or, dont que for group finder....simple.

Also, if you wanna watch the story, consider forming your own group in general chat?
This is arrogant, short-sighted and childish. Your time is no more valuable than anyone elses. 'Holding the group' to watch a cutscene has a legitimate function. Delaying the group because you're mad you had to wait does not. What you just said is the true meaning of 'griefing'. You chose to play a heavily story driven MMO, yet you cry foul when people actually want to watch the story. Your reaction to something you don't like is an embarassment, and your attempt to make non-skippers into selfosh griefers is sad.

For the record, I do spacebar through most things after seeing them a few times. But I don't throw a tantrum if someone wants to watch it through. The simple fact is nobody has the right to tell anyone else how they should play. Again, this is a story-based MMO. If someone wants to watch the cutscene every time, they are 100% entitled. You are not entitled to posture and make demands that it be skipped just because you want to go faster. Behavior like that doesn't fly when you're in a line for movie tickets or at a restaurant, and it doesn't fly in a game like this.

Politely ask "can we skip this?". If the answer is yes, lucky you. If the answer is no, suck it up and deal with it.

story mode has its name for a reason. Im not arrogant or short sighted, i just dont want to sit and wait. I dont see how you think im arrogant. I didnt say i was better then anyone else. If you want to watch cutscenes and enjoy the story outside of story mode, ill be watching video's on youtube to fill that "entertainment" time. I never demand and dont ask usually, i just spend my time doing something else and dont always make it back as soon as the cutscene's over.

I like to think that haveing a competent tank that is willing to help with strats is compensation for this. If not, people are more then welcome to use the ignore option as i do. Generally if i dont like the way a person is playing, i ignore them. Its nothing personal, i just dont want that to be a part of my experience. This is no movie or resturant that you are paying for a one time visit to enjoy the atomosphere or the really loud speakers. This is an MMO with other people on the other end of the game. I would think you would be more considerate of their time. Maybe not. Just asking for considerating, i never said anything about blowing up chat with elitist remarks or capslock demands. Stop putting things in my mouth that i didnt say.

And you are not childish or arrogant?

You are definitely hypocritical.

One post you talk about consideration and in another you say if they don't play like you (which to clarify is NOT the expected way to play for everyone, it is an opinion of yours) you walk away to be immature and MAKE them wait on you.

It has already been posted why many people will do FP's for the first time in HM.

You are not considerate...you feel your way is the right way to play and will go out of your way to grief those who simply want to watch the cutscenes that you already have seen.

Your words, not mine.

That is childish...arrogant...and selfish.

makeing them wait isnt the intended purpose, filling my entertainment time with entertainment is my purpose. The secondary thing is more of a bonus.

When we group with other people, it's a given that we may have to wait on them at some point or other because they are... well... people, and they come in many flavours, speeds and RL circumstances.

They are not robots, or NPCs.

This means sometimes waiting for random AFKing and may include playing the flashpoint as it was intended to be played, cut-scenes, bonus quests, and all. It also means tolerating different views and personal tastes from our own. Players working together requires organization, patience and tolerance.

If we have no tolerance for the things other people may do, then it's probably best we don't group with random players we have no control over in a public queue. A lack of tolerance is better suited to solo play, and NOT group play, unless we form our own groups deliberately with like minded people we know.

Unfortunately, I think some of us have lost touch what it actually means to play (and empathize) with real people through an online medium and this is contributing to the lack of patience and tolerance we see in game.

I think it's reasonable to expect people to skip dialog on hardmodes.

Ignorance, you has it.

No one needs to ask if they can watch the convos, to expect them to is unreasonable.

This is why I don't use LFG. People wanted it so they could more easily find groups to run content with.

What LFG actually did, was make it easier to fill your ignore list. Its still just as hard to find a group to run content with, as opposed to finding groups filled with toddlers who must run thru everything at light speed, getting the group wiped 5 times just getting to the boss.

I'm so glad I have my family to play with, running group content with people you know IRL is WAY easier than getting a group of strangers to just be civil to one another for 5 minutes.

Should I have asked to post this first?
