My character still cant sit in chairs and its been 7 months.

Is that a huge deal, no.

Yet, its the little things that show how much compassion they have for the actual game itself.
I am not feeling like there is much aside from the business perspective.

I cant help but feel that the love is lacking. Its all just rinse and repeat, lame gifts every 3 months or so (about resub time).

Just enough is getting done to keep you subbing. Where is the pride in ones work anymore?

We have not heard anything because there is really nothig to tell. We may get some stuff that probally should have been in at launch or some repackaged content in the near future, i suppose that will be cool.

Not much you can do about, just enjoy the game for what it is. Hey its a starwars game after all.

Certainly seems that way.

The blog post about the new community team and how they are going to be more pro-active on the forums was on the 31st May. Since that day there's been nothing.

"We’ll be giving you a very brief introduction this week, but you’ll be seeing more in-depth profiles from each of us in the upcoming weeks."

I dont personally care about sitting in chairs but, I can understand people do. Im posting because I remember this was one of the most talked about things back in beta. There were many passionate people asking for this feature and for very many builds of beta.

They actually started, at the end of beta, to allow chair sitting. I remember they added a few on this ships. I figured they were going to make passes and eventually all chairs would be sittable. That stopped though and it never came to be. So I figure they dont feel it was worth their time and other things were more important.

Thats one thing I do not understand about this company. They touted that they have this huge staff and huge teams dedicated to each aspect of the game. If that is the case then why is everything so poorly done and so slow. I mean, dont take that literally, not everything is poorly done. Its just that the quality of patches is terrible. The game launched very basic and features are very slow comming out. If they have these teams they said they have then features and content should come at the same time and it doesnt... not even close. On top of that, for every bug they fix, they introduce 3 more. Lag, stability, downtime, updates is at its worst lately. Its just getting really sad.

Whats sadder is they dont even care enough to write a simple producers letter. Every MMO, I have been a part of does this on a regular basis. They dont talk to us, interact with us, nothing... that stems all the way back to beta. "We hear you" and "soon" is about all we every get. If they want us to have faith and continue to pay, they sure dont show it.

For example, look at Everquest II, it turned into f2p model and now you have to pay even for equipping a high level sword or armor piece. Similar goes for DDO - now you have to pay to get access to quests, auction house, race unlocks etc...

If you were to sum up all the money you would have to pay to get the "full version" of the game in f2p model, you would see that you would not have to pay this amount of money even if you payed for 5 years subscription in classic model.

TL;DR: Free2play? No thanks. Nothing to discuss.
erm this is ea were talking about look at bf3 premuim lol if ea see a way to make cash from losing it on swtor they will, it dont matter what u want

^This. The company is turmoil. Many are probably trying to figure out who will do what. No reason to panic though. It happens after any major restructuring.

So no OP. They haven't given up. There is too much money invested for that.

This game needs its own reverse NGE remake. The class story experience is the best part of the game, and so are many of the companion quests, but much of the game needs to be reworked.

Didn't care that much about MoH to be honest. So, I don't know what became of it.

However, I have been through reorgs and layoffs in an industry closely connected to gaming. As one who remained to pick up the pieces, I can tell you it is a trying time. However, you get through it and find your stride again. It's not like BW is going away anytime soon. Besides, EA really needs to revenue generated by SWTOR.
