Hi all i just restarted my pc and reinstalled the launcher and the launcher is now running and dloading the patch> Thank you all so much

WORKED! Ok, running the SWTOR Setup seems to have resolved the issue for me. Just to make sure, I did the following: a) Deleted both patch folders b) Deleted launcher.exe c) Ran fixlauncher.exe d) Ran the SWTOR_setup.exe The launcher popped up, updated itself, closed down...... then came back again correctly! Logged in, and patching as normal.

I have a folder called patch, a folder called patcher_1-59 and a folder called patcher_1-61. Which did you delete?

finally got it working. had to uninstall again, then reboot, then reinstall. is patching atm but looks like its past the updateing lancher problem

Ok, let me get this straight..... Delete both patch folders.... Delete Launcher folder.... Run Launcherfix programme... run the set-up Game works? Not for me it doesn't. Is a full re-install going to be required just because a new patch has mucked with some files?
