Really? That's your solution? Don't try to do anything to change things or make them better for people, just suck it up?

Really MMOs should have adopted a Class/Role/Craft and Trade rolling system.

Class/Role/Craft - can only be selected if they are the appropriate class or have the appropriate tradeskill (and don't already know the pattern, if they do then they roll Trade for it). Higest priority roll and binds item.
Trade - this is the lowest priority roll for vendoring and selling in the GTN/AH/whatever. BoE items remain BoE.

Essentially that is what a certain other game actually finally implemented after 7 years. It still has flaws due to other features that they implemented or did as of my last played date.
Now here's an actual good idea.

Dude, I was the healer in that group. The guy wasn't rolling need because he wanted the piece to turn in so he could get the one beneficial enhancement on it. (Which really, buddy, really? That's got to be the most convoluted way of justifying ninjaing loot from the proper class the token was meant for.) He rolled on it because he was mad no loot dropped for him during the course of the Flashpoint. I have a screenshot of him saying -exactly that-. So seriously? Knock off the white knighting.

Posts like this are always fantastic. Fan-freaking-tastic.

Let me address the MAJOR thing in this post.... I'm NOT aiming for any kind of "perfect world". Period.
I saw a minor issue.
I expressed what I felt the issue was.
I offered up my hopes that perhaps Bioware will look into ways to make this issue LESS of an issue.

CLEARLY I am rabidly campaigning for a PERFECT WORLD!

/laughs.... Seriously?
/Gives another 'Happy Troll Treat'.

I've only seen it work in small, low-turnover, closely-knit communities (like within guilds or on some low-pop servers). If those conditions don't apply, then I've only seen one of two things happen: 1) nothing; 2) the blacklister himself gets blacklisted (or flamed or /ignored or whatever).

Interesting to read how some people tried to twist what the op was referring to in order to justify really poor looting etiquette. As the other person from the team said, it had nothing to do about the possibility of using one of the mods, it was the stated reason for the need, "I did not get anything, so I am going to need". I can't imagine that is defensible with any logic. It was crybaby childishness, nothing else. I ran SM EC the other day. Not a single item. No mat, no schematic, nothing. Made a joke about looking into my empty backpack and moved on. It happens.

Plenty of loot drops in the game. The system could use some refinements, but works fine 95%+ of the time. When you come across a tool like that, add to ignore list and move on. I play the game to have fun, not deal with that garbage.

As has been stated in so many other threads, a simple "mind if I need for comp/alt?" is all it takes.

The token good for one jedi knight piece is factually benefical to the Jedi Shadow.
But the only beneficial peice would be the enhancement, or the color crystal if it was a weapon. Jedi Shadows use Willpower, not strength, so it has all the wrong stats.
