I was on Hoth and received no warning whatsoever. Luckily I had just transported back to the base to turn in missions.

I think some dude in the BW mail office tried sending out an ingame mail message but he was lagging so much, maybe when we all log back in we will get notification the they are/were taking the servers down......
Then again i am just amazed an MMO company has owned up to having a lag issue at all personally... many others would of simply said "sorry but having run extensive tests we have been unable to find any issues from our servers therfore it must be the players internet of poor pc's causing their individual lag issues"

Anything that is done repetitively can be done by a computer. That is why right brained people will eventually rule the world.

Haha, I'm actually debating playing KOTOR or Witcher 1 atm. At least this gives me the opportunity to play some other games that don't crap out on me.

I think with all the unannounced server downtime esp. during the weekend when most people can play we deserve added free time to our billing cycles. This is simply unacceptable.

In everquest 2 they would send everyone big red msgs with a loud gong giving a 30 min with 5min interval countdown when they were bringing the servers down.

I saw no warnings, and I was doing dailies, so not like I was distracted or anything. Red text is hard to miss.
