Why I won't transfer servers - Character Attachment

Yes pre CU SWG was the best ever! They should buy the rights to that game give it upgraded character models and a fuctional jump!

I didn't have to change my character names, but I had to change my legacy name from Brony to ßrony. It still kinda sucked, but it wasn't a huge deal. Character names are harder to let go, I know, but what another poster said was to think of an RP reason for why your name needed to be changed. That works well

Don't know where you got this idea, but it's only those who transferred to a destination server or were originally on a "destination server" that get the reward. If your character isn't on a server that others could transfer to it isn't on the eligible list for the reward and won't get one.

I felt the exact same way. Fortunately for me, I only had to part with two names. I feel you though. This was an issue I brought up a looooong time ago and nobody seemed to give a rat's A**. If this issue had been addressed by the Devs way back when I brought it up, this whole name issue could have been taken care of.

After all, I am sure there were more than one Luke in the galaxy, but only one Luke Skywalker. I am sure there were more then one Han out in the galaxy, but only one Han Solo. Why they made first names Bound, I'll never know.

Another odd thing to me, is why is it when we become Darth's, we don't get to create a Darth Name? Your Darth name should never be the same as your First name. It would make more sense to open up first names to all, close out Sir Names, then Close out Darth Names.

If one guy had the first name of Krawl Soulstalker (My Jugg) and another guy decided to name his character who has the name of Kain Ashseer as Darth Krawl, then that would be fair. While my character who's name is Krawl Soulstalker could be dubbed, Darth Kain.

I guess if you want the perfect game, you have to get a degree, get experienced people, get a loan, and create it yourself.

Checked the list,all the servers they offer me say full. Cant transfer if i wanted to. I think its a Sith plot!

They don't offer you any serverS. They tell you the 1 SERVER you can go to.

My identity in real life is still in tact. I'll be fine. Really, you will be too. If your plan is to quit if forced to name change, then you (and I mean this in a non troll way) may as well un-sub now and save yourself time and money.

They do need to work on a resolution for this though. I'm sure they are figuring it out now.

1 day after the quarterly report is due they'll give some kind of stupid pet to the troops to keep them in line and subscribed.

1 day after the next one due there will be touted new "transfers" that won't fix all the problems, but what the hey, they are working on it.

Rinse and repeat as the calendar moves thru the ensuing year...
