Hey all,

I've been tanking for a while now and I'm in full Columi gear. While I've been tanking in MMOs for years and I've been accustomed to grinding out my set bonus pretty early, I've not been impressed with the Guardian's tanking bonus thus far. The 2-set is handy to give a little extra push on our cooldowns but the 4-set just seems very lackluster and I haven't noticed much improvement with or without it.

My question is how necessary do you all feel that the set bonuses are? I'd personally much rather augment my Battlelord's gear and tank in that than stare at my ridiculous shoulder pads much longer. Yes, I do know that I could augment my existing gear and keep my set bonuses, but this is more a question of aesthetics vs function, and how necessary are the set bonuses.
