It is not a very good idea to ban speeders on fleet at all. It's also a "lazy" solution whereby the majority again suffers because of the aberrant behavior of a few. This tendency in rule making is particular to some parts of the world, but it doesn't belong in SWTOR. Wasting enormous time running around on foot is a joy killer. Be smart and come up with something better.

Be smart and come up with something better. Banning speeders on fleet would be a good idea, IMO. You can run the entire circumference of the fleet in under a minute, probably under 30 seconds. How much time are you REALLY saving by using speeders on the fleet? If less than a minute is an enormous waste of time to you, then I have no idea what to tell you. Someone suggested a buff to run speed active only on the fleet. This might be a compromise that would accommodate the vast majority of players.

Add a small zone around these terminals, and after X seconds, the terminal will push people in it away, every 30 seconds or so maybe?

Ye, although it would be better if terminals/cargo/GTN and vendors had some sort of aoe dismount effect, say 5m range. That way people can still show off their shinies but not get in the way of people trying to access day to day stuff. Better yet, maybe BioWare could come up with something to do with speeders. Races would be fun, like crossing the tat desert etc and other inhospitable areas Seriously though, this is a pitiful thing to be whining about.

I find It fun actually, even the big speeders jumping around on the fleet...what i can't believe is how much people complaints about everything in here. It's a MMO, a game full people having fun. It's just silly if you can't enjoy being around many players at the same time on the fleet.

Had never an issue to access the terminal or a vendor with some moron parking his vehicle there. I understand that some people are not happy with that, but I don't think it'S BioWare's job to do something about it. I think this is something the community should handle itself, putting those guys on ignore lists, don't help them when they need help (maybe even create black lists or talk to the guilds to which they belong that they should talk with that member). Social pressure can work even with the anonymity of the internet, because some of them just are attention seekers, and so they might not be too happy if nobody what to do anything with them anymore. Removing speeders from the fleet is letting them win, by taking away something just because of a few (it's like giving up freedom because politicians think that it might help against terrorism).
