Yes, I'm sure this game will have no life left in it when they release the next batch of transfers tomorrow morning.

BW, will get no reward for running a double shift the will be forgotten about by this time next week by the "customers" and they will still have to pay for the added work. there is no logic in that!

On Anchorhead, there were 4 people in Coruscant, 5 on tanaris and 24 people on the fleet last night. It's hard to believe that there are servers with even lower population than this. Its been that way every day just about since 1.2, I make it a point to check before I log into Fatman.

If you have a planned schedule could you please post it so people know what to expect? Reminds me of how early play was for pre-orders. Half of us got to read posts about everyone having fun while we waited for our turn. Wasn't very good feeling.
No, it isn't a good feeling, but it's a gradual process and they felt that this method would not only make the transfers effective (quality over quantity, especially of something of this magnitude), but to ensure that it was done in a way that people wouldn't be up in arms if something was said that was going to be done, and something had to be changed mid-stride. There's a reason they've kept quiet about who is going where, because people would fling crap over every little thing on these forums. It's far more effective for them to just stay silent about it and post the information when it becomes known and 100% certain that it is to be done. Far less messy.

People don't like having to wait while others get the benefit. Call it pathetic, impatient, immature, whiny...call it whatever you want, it is real.

They should have been able to keep pushing more servers...maybe not 24/7 but certainly later than 3pm central.
What are you doing posting on the internet all day when you should be working? As your boss, I would be more interested in what you have to say about that rather then some other company. ;p

This really bites! Oh well, what's another day of not playing I would have thought they would keep these slow transfers ongoing throughout the night.

Their day started at what, 2am with the fix for yesterday? The night shift operators did not accomplish that. I'm quite sure they still have a couple of hours to wrap the day up ahead of them. That, at the lest, is a 12 to 14 hour day.

You are speaking of emergency situations, not something that can and should wait. It is a very common situation for a bushiness to release updates in stages.

As a business owner do you want your major players in and ready to work tomorrow, rested, crisp, ready for another grueling day or do you want them tired and burnt out, primed for making mistakes especially when pushing out more then 122 servers is not at all necessary (except for a very few that demand it right now)?

In short, there is no advantage to continuing but a plethora of risks in doing so. They are not down. They have simply ceased the process for the day so that they can prepare for yet another day and perhaps a few more after that. You may chose the former. That is your right as a business owner. I would chose the latter as I feel it is the best option for both my business and my customers.

Sure it will be. Its frustration likes this happening over and over again making people quit. My point is, if the didnt transer the servers, the game would have no users by the end of the summer. Why make people frustrated now when they have the opertunity to not ?

It's called vacation, I don't think most bosses would be concerned. You are very special.

So how many of how many have been transfered? I have heard 60 of 200 though I 'm not really sure. If thats true at this rate it will be 5 more days of transfers (140 left 30 per day) and will they continue through the weekend or be put off until Monday. Lots of questions and not many answers.
