I agree with the op. I took a two week break. Tried out some other mmos. Star trek online and Everquest ii(used to play but lost my account info). Neither were as polished as this game.
I also played diablo 3, and got bored with that super quickly.

The bugs really aren't that bad.
Plus I only saw a few terrible bugs(the ones in EV) but they're fixed now.

Well I hope it works for you.I came back when they had the free weekend and gave the free 30 days.My sub ends the 20th.I have already unsubbed. With me it was about basic mechanics not working.Still aren't as I found out again today. That and I don't feel like grinding dailies to get those so called benies from legacy. If I want to see overpriced items I just need to go to the grocery story.I don't feel the need to see it in a game.Games are suppose to be fun.The grind isn't.They had a really good game until two builds before early access and then they went wild with nerf bat.It was more about the player making choices then.It doesn't matter if it is D3 or GW2 it seems there is this overwhelming need to control so much of the player's chr.Good thing about GW2 I pre ordered on Amazon so I can cancel.I waiting to see when 1.3 patch comes out and I will decide if I will resub.Of the 3 games mention Tor is way better than the other 2.Over 6 years with GW1 and about the same with D2.Still I can't see paying for a sub if I can't use some basic skills.

I also enjoy this game a lot, until a few weeks ago. The only problem I have is that there are way to few people on my server. My server is, so called, dead. And as a PvP'er population is important.

I can't get a game going, so in my case I am waiting for server transfers.

There are extremely few class specific quest for the different classes and I for one have just had enough. I do not PvP and will not PvP, I did not buy a MMORPG to PvP. The way it is now it is a MMOPVP with very few elements of an RPG and they have tried to sell it as a MMORPG.
My advise dont play mmo's ever again. If you think swtor is bad then you obviously havent played any other mmo.

I haven't seen these bugs people have been talking about... I've been playing since the day it launched, and I haven't found any bugs in the game for months. Maybe their computers are just ****** and it doesn't play the game properly for them?

Welcome back, OP!

I went through a similar mmo pilgrimage post 1.2. I went back to wow, lotro, rift, tried tera, only to come running back to swtor. I'm not saying that swtor is perfect right now, because there are things that need to be expanded and improved on. But when it comes down to it, swtor has it going on in the right places. I am so picky now when it comes to GOOD story in questing that I really can't tolerate most of the other mmos on the market. (Am I the only one who thinks Gw2's 'heroic personal story quest' is laughable compared to what Bioware gave us?) I love the gameplay, love the content, and I love my server's community (Jedi Covenant represent!)

There are things that swtor needs to get to the next level (more space combat options, more dynamic worlds, achievements, pazaak and other social games) but I'll be sticking around for good while Bioware implements them. I believe in swtor and the team at Bioware, and I'll stick with them for as long as the game is alive (and then, maybe even after).
What I'd like to see in SWTOR:
-World Dynamism (NPCs that interact, environments that are not static, weather)
- Pazaak and other cantina/social games
- Expanded space combat
