It's more or less at the 6 month mark and they are struggling to get basic features that other games already have (Customizable UI, etc...) It's funny how MMORPG's are one of the few services where paying customers actually expect them to be delivered substandard.

Unsubbed a month ago, free month over 4 days ago. Not re-subbing until transfers are a reality.

I signed up for 6 months when my free month was over and got the second free month for having a 50. My game time doesn't run out until mid August. But if I have the money I'll be getting another 6 months, if not then 3 months.

I got burned out on WoW endgame and am having a great time with 1 50 and 19 million alts. I play on 4 servers, have 3 legacies, and more troopers than the Republic knows what to do with. I'm one of the odd gamers that went from super hardcore WoW endgame to super casual alt generating in SWTOR though.

YMMV

I've unsubbed, could have been the first elite warlord on my server (was valor 97 when I stopped logging in), but whats the point. I haven't uninstalled yet, but expect I will soon. At this stage, have no intention of coming back - ever.
If Bioware ever release another MMO, I will definitely not play it - the attention they paid to fixing bugs in the game, well, suffice to say, most of the ones that annoyed me in beta and were reported in beta are still in the game today. Reminds me of DAOC and all its bugs that also never got fixed - funny aren't these the same people?

Terrible then and terrible now.

+1 dont think i will come back unless they make it more like galaxies. To much of FPS with co-op areas for it to be called an MMORPG.

I got sick and didn't play for a week.

I got interested in Diablo III for a while , but since that game doesn't require a subscription I didn't cancel my SWTOR sub.

I got interested in that novel I'm writing I work on from time to time ...

They got it right when they said people just play less these days. I love the game ... but I don't play 8 hrs a day anymore .
Survey says : need more story....but we already have more story than anyone else ! ... too bad. need more story.

Anyone remember Motorcity Online and Sims Online (both no longer live). They both have one thing in common with swtor....EA

Dont forget Earth and Beyond, and Warhammer.

But ya i purchased 6 month sub, got the CE, got 5 RL friends to come along. But 2 of my friends unsubbed before 1.2. Then another after 1.2. And now just me and 2 others and were pretty much done. I unsubbed last week, my sub runs out mid-august.

I will not be subbing again. I have no confidence in the devs or EA in getting this game out of its rust in any meaningful time frame. It lacks so many things its just not going to cut it anymore.

Were all now focused on Guild Wars 2. It already seems its packing A L O T more basic MMO features and vastly, beyond vastly PvP system, and many features that drive home building a solid community, as well as a much more robust crafting system and endgame incentives to keep playing. And yes they have server transfers at launch...oh and its free to play and they managed to put in 60 feature films worth of voice work too. Shame on you BW...so sad.

Goodluck to BW and all who stick around. I wish it didnt come to this, i didnt think that SWTOR would become a placeholder for something that might be much better, but it has come to this.

I came to this game with 3 friends. I was only one left until 4 days ago when my free 30 ran out. One friend hasn't been able to play since patch 1.1 as the game consistently crashed his pc. Another quit playing all together because of no WZ q's on our dead server, another went on to diablo 3.

I am still subscribed, though not for much longer.

I came to the game with my husband, my brother, and about a dozen friends. All that are left now are me and one of our friends, and that one friend has now re-started on an Oceanic server, because we're night shift U.S. and our gaming hours are prime time over there.

I stayed on our original server because I'm going to finish up the story lines of a couple of my characters before I go. That's all I have left to play for, and once it's over, I'm done. I have nothing else to hold me here or to interest me, as the 'space game' sucks, I have zero interest in this game's PvP, I haven't been very intrigued by the Operations, and the only good thing about solo play is the story- and once the story is done, it's game over. There's not even any real achievement system, or collectibles (I'm a sucker for those), or modifiable housing (again, I'm a sucker for), nor is the crafting system very robust (and that's what I'm the biggest sucker for).

Oh well. I'll just constrain my Star Wars geeking out to other games and other entertainment mediums. Or perhaps I'll look up that EMU I've heard about for years now...
