210K credits at level 40 for Speeder 2?

330K credits at level 50 for Speeder 3?

That's nuts.
Eh?

1. Do every quest, including bonus quests.
2. Do each flashpoint once.
3. Do each heroic area once.
4. Do each space mission once.

That's all you need to do! You'll still be able to afford all class skills, buy speeder training at the proper level, and send your companions on missions to keep your crew skills up. I don't understand why anyone has trouble with credits.

I agree the training costs are excessive. At level 45 I find I have to quest for a few hours straight to have enough creds to upgrade my skills. Only to level up and have to do it all over again.

I've been able to make money pretty well, lvl 37 and have 206k right now. I was at 75k and then I just decided to do some heroics I never got around to doing. All the junk and items I collected gave me soo much cash. Quests really give good money. If your really good at auctions crew skills *might* be able to make you money.

Of course I haven't been training crew skills too much, but I had gotten so far that I could make items I couldn't even equip yet so it was nice to let it go for a bit.

You can't make money without putting a bit of work into it.

Thanks you jerk, now I can't see this thread without laughing.
Alone is the default state of an MMO player, whether if be for minutes (or) months, and the game should embrace that. But making a massively single player game isn’t the answer.

Training cost are no problem at all!

Every day I start with ~150k to 200k coins, then do some crafting, buy new stuff for me or my followers going to 0-5k coins and at the end of the day I'm again between 150k and 200k coins.
That's with level 38!

So sorry, realy no idear what's your problem with making ingame money.

Meaningful decisions doesn't apply here...we're talking about class skills...you know the ones you get from leveling. Even if my Inq were to focus away from melee and other non-casting skills, I'm looking at at least 150k worth of training to deal with.

How is it a meaningful decision?

training cost's aren't too much...believe me credits are so easy to get that they should raise the costs if anything.

I'm not bankrupt and so far I have had enough money to train skills, play around with the crew, buy some non-necessary items, etc.

However... I do not understand the logic (other than "every other idiot MMO does it so we have to too") of making us pay to train the skills our character is SUPPOSED to have at a given level. I mean... talents don't cost money, so why do skills? Many talents are arguably BETTER than skills, and they certainly make many skills better... yet they are free, one per level.

So why does going from "blaster fire rank 2" to "blaster fire rank 3" -- which is the rank I am supposed to have at level X, cost credits? It's about as logical as charging you to take a quest. It's like they're making you pay credits to play the game properly.

I know, I know... WOW does it, LOTRO does it, etc, etc, etc... But it still makes no sense to me. It's just a money sink.

And why do they need a money sink? If they think we are earning too much money, why not just lower the rewards and make the training free? It's almost like they built the game, then said "Whoops people are too rich!" and to solve it, instead of revising the loot tables, they just made training skills really expensive.

So... I don't see the logic in this. Again, I'm not complaining about being poor -- so far I have been able to afford stuff (though barely, in some cases). I just don't see why we should pay for things our character is supposed to have as part of its normal existence.
Back in the game after playing a long time ago, in a year far, far away...

everytime i send out my companion to sell grey stuff she comes back with several thousands. I do some pvp and get tons. i take all nodes i find (scavangeing) and sell it for loads.

I dident even try to make credits and i had 1,5mil when i hit 50.

If u dont affored training u are doing something wrong, dont blame that one the game.

I think you make plenty of money, I remember playing vanilla wow back when it first came out and it was a very slow pace to earn money...this game you are half rich by the time you leave the starter planets.
