Why don't you play all 8 class story lines?

A heavily story based MMO can never work and this just goes to show it especially when it encourages creating Alts as much as it does.

I've tried to play trough more than one class/story but all these other missions in a linear way kinda ruins the experience for me. But once I can allocate more xp buffs in 1.3 I will pvp, (perhaps space) and do flashpoints and only the class/story missions until lvl 50 and the class/story finishes. I hope this approach will work for me, as I'd like to see all the class/stories but as it is now I wont because it is SO FRIGGIN BORING.

Yeah =) this is the same way that I play it.

Always have them rested, my main JK got to 50 so now I'm working on a BH to see the empire-side of things. After that it's my smuggler. Alternating between empire and republic has been the best way for me to keep it feeling fun =) then I've forgotten most of the q's by the time I'm back again to that factions planet-q's. Also switch between force-user and non-force-users.

I play like this too; I've made all 8 and ended up remaking 3 due to legacy unlocks. Now of course I want to make the other 8 specializations but I don't want to go to another server so i started a 2nd account. Which kind of sucks since I have to start a new legacy. I assume you all are making them on other servers?

I love the story to this game it's very in depth; different for each way you play your characters. In WoW i played every class twice for both factions. No different here lol

It's hard to play all 8 stories, because of all the same missions you've already done over and over. There's no choice in questing, it's very linear.

Although with 1.3's LFG tool, that should ease the pain of leveling a new character.

Looking at the subs, that seems to be a common problem with this game eh?

Some of the story line are pretty decent, but perhaps running through all the same repatative side quests 7 more times isn't as stimulating as Bioware percieved.

give me a chance, i plan on playing all 8, but i'm only on number 3, i like to finish one before i start another (oo i should be a relationship councilor lol)

i have a question for ppl that say they get tired skipping convo's with the space bar.

what is the difference between pressing space bar to skip voice acted story, and pressing enter to skip though text based story?

i mean in both cases you have to press a button to skip the dialog

I played all 8 characters. The problem is most of them are badly written, and are in no way representative of what the BW of old is capable of. Furthermore, playing what is essentially a single player campaign 8 times isn't really what an mmo is about, and I don't see why I should pay 15 dollars a month for it.

I tried to, got Agent, Bounty Hunter and Warrior to 50 and Inquisitor to 38. Story quests were fun but the vast majority of quests on each planet are repeated for each class and it gets totally boring since it is so linear with no optional areas for leveling. I finally just could not do it anymore, too boring. Would log in and do a quest or two on Inquisitor and just get totally bored and log off. Tried starting Republic side but I did some of them in Beta and just could not get interested in those either. Have not logged in for weeks now. Server merges and transfers are not going to change that. Before total population crash I ran FPs and found them to be uninspired with excessive amounts of trash pulls that just serve as a useless time sink since I never saw a trash pull drop anything of use at all. Boss mechanics were uninspired, not mention buggy bosses in some of them.

Add in that the drops in HMs are inferior to orange gear with Lvl 49 purple mods and enhancements and Lvl 50 Daily commendation armor, hilts and barrels. The FPs are not something I would want to grind for any length of time, too dull.

My sub runs out in August and I really see nothing upcoming that would make me resub. The legacy stuff is a total waste and unlocks are way too expensive. Really should not cost anything if you have gotten the legacy level up to unlock, should only cost if you want to buy it early with the price pro-rated down the closer you get to the unlock level. The amount of boring grind to come up with that kind of in game cash really put me off the whole concept.

Well i have 3 50s and 2 lvl 43s ( about to have 5 50s ) and with 5 maxed out crafting and crew skills.
so im wondering can BW send me a t shirt for this achievement?
