Why don't you play all 8 class story lines?

If the game offered different leveling paths I'd be more open to playing all 8 ACs. I just can't get myself to do the same zones over and over and over again. I'm currently leveling my 3rd guy, and doing the same zones in the same order is brutal.

This is exactly why I couldn't stand WoW. The quests themselves were poorly written and bad. To me it didn't matter that there might have been more choice or not.

I enjoy the class quests alot in SWTOR, and some of the Planetary quests are worth repeating, like watching re-runs on TV...in particular I like the Czerka quest on Tatooine. So the repetion that exists doesn't bother me as much. Would I like more goodness? Sure.

Yeah, side quests are hit and miss...but even the worst ones I prefer over anything I saw in WoW. Granted I only made it to 20lvl in WoW before gouging my eyes out. These particular quests in SWTOR I can now skip as I know the game better and know how to make up xp later in the game. With my Smuggler, I skipped the entire Balmorra bonus series, and will make up some xp when I do the Alderaan bonus series which I missed first time around with my JK.

I have a 50 Jedi Shadow, Jedi Guardian, Sith Marauder and Imperial Sniper. With 75% of the content being shared between the classes of each faction, doing a quest for the third time gets tedious..

I'll probably finish levelling my Scoundrel and Sorcerer at some point, but for now. I'm kinda burned out on questing in SWTOR...

I got 4 characters to 50 and thats with 4 different storylines. I don't play this game for the single player experience even though I enjoy some of the storylines. Expecting me to level every single class to 50 because there is nothing to do is absurd. After 4 50's I am tired of leveling and doing all the same boring crap on both sides.

So in short No Thank You! name me one single player game that you pay monthly for lol.

Well i'll eventually play all of the 8 storys and so far i have a lot of fun witm my toons!

The important thing is that you have to relax while playing... its not my goal to level those 8 chars within 8 months or so ... i want to give it time cause i know that playing 1 class per month would leave me burned out pretty fast!

I play the game since prelaunch ... so its about 6 month now and i have my lvl 50 smuggler + my lvl 43 Knight ... and boy i love the jedi story (end of act 2 is great!)!

I also only play one char at a time and will start with my 3rd char once my jedi is 50 and has its battlemastergear!
My Problem with multiple chars is, that i would loose the feeling of my current storyline and the character i've developed... it would be like reading several books at the same time :P

Just didnt have the replay value for me.
I'm pretty much the same I've got a 50 sorc, a 34 Jug, 17 Op and 18 Knight but I've stopped playing with anything but the sorc - I pretty much just log on for 2 hours Friday and Sunday to do Operations with my guild.

As a result I only play 4 hours a week, but I'm busy so it works out. This game clearly caters to casual gamers such as myself, so while I enjoy it, a lot of serious gamers don't really like swtor.

There isn't one. Thankfully, SWTOR isn't one either.

i got my agent to lvl 50 then lapyed a various of alts before fineally getting my knight to lvl 50

was intresting to see the republic side of planets but i think its a tad anoying that in order to get tot lvl 50 u have to do most of the side missions also.

that being said i plan to use the xp gain for pvp and FP in 1.3 so i can skip planets i hate and quests i dont like.

Probably because it gets expensive. I lost count of how many times I went broke trying to level all my characters evenly, eventually I gave up and got my Sentinel to 50. Now he runs dailies to fund the legacy system and my other characters. Just bought the onboard email terminal, so next I provide funding to all those broke characters I have.
Best way to end Smuggler Act 1 is
Spoiler

You can't make up stuff like that.

Believe me, I do want to play the other classes, and I have dabbled in them a little... I just get a little tired of it after a while, because I've already leveled one character to 50, and slowly grinding up another just isn't much fun. If leveling alts was faster it wouldn't be so bad, but currently it's pretty dull.
Even the experience point bonuses coming in with the next update don't sound like they're going to help much. The bonuses are so small, why even bother with them at all? 2% extra EXP, 4%? Not even enough to bother with. And sure, they stack, but even combined it's still fairly low (though it is better than nothing), but you have to have legacy level 25 to even get that far... so you have to level up your characters without any decent EXP bonus anyway, which seems to completely defeated the purpose. The bonuses are supposed to help you level faster... and yet you have to slowly level your character just to try to unlock one bonus.
