What do any of these comments have to do with my response? I'm simply stating that I READ documents before I clicked the "I AGREE" button. Unlike the OP and most of the people whining in this thread apparently.

The point is that it doesn't MATTER what you or I think. By playing this game you agreed to abide by the judgements of EA/Bioware/SWTOR. If you don't like it quit playing, it will make my queue times shorter.

Seriously BW don t start the Blizzard trend of banning anything that anybody reports. Most reports are made for grieving someone and not because a name is offensive or anything.

The decision to remove a name should NOT rest on a single individual to make. You are risking that more and more people will report anybody's name because they want to abuse the system and annoys that person.

From literal interpretation of the naming conventions half of the names I saw last night on the Fatman should be actioned

I'd imagine that it is just a unilateral decision to not allow any disease names. I agree that anemia isn't so bad as a name, but it probably got caught under a broader rule created for the people that think lololoaids is the pinnacle of humor.

This reminds me of when I got a 3 day suspension on Xbox Live for using my own name on my gamer profile...

My name is Cody and they moderated my game profile and like I said, suspended me for 3 days... When I asked support on the Xbox website why... They said Cody can be a street name for the drug Codeine, which also confused me because not only is Codeine not illegal, it is prescribed as pain medication by doctors right now...

LOL I bet my BH gets me in trouble if they are going to be so picky. Me and some friends have a LONG running joke. I am sure almost everyone knows the Jeff Foxworthy jokes "you might be a redneck if....". Well we all joke "You might be a redneck bounty hunter if your Mamma named you Bubba Feet". Of course I had to name my toon Bubbafeet in game. Dont care if people think its stupid I thought it was funny and appropriate so I did it.

I don't know why people can't just pick a name that fits with Star Wars and enjoy the game. Names like that are just silly, juvenile, and annoying.

I'd be happy if Bioware took this kind of nonsense seriously for once so we can have a mature environment rather than a junior high cafeteria, it would be a nice change of pace.

Just start reporting other peoples names until they either force change those names or give you back yours.

They have a tool in place to prevent people from taking certain names already, if they didn't think far enough ahead to ban other possible names then let the people have it. If you get offended by a name, grow up. If someone takes a name from their favourite show/game whatever, they're just trying to pay homage to something they like.
