Accuracy in PVP?

Is 100% accuracy (white hits) not good enough for PVP? Reading the description, it only increases armor pen past 100%. So wouldn't it be better to replace acc with another secondary stat after 100%? Leveling an alt and see it on all of the BM gear and just wanted to know...

you have 100% accuracy innately on all abilities. just about everyone but tanks has 5% defense rating, so you need only 5% more accuracy in pvp to remove your opponents defense chance.

the amount of accuracy on PvP gear is still outrageous. i dont understand bioware's logic in doing that, when they even said they realized they put too much accuracy on BM gear

Thanks. Do we know how much Acc rating = 1%?

Accuracy doesn't increase armour penetration.

Not exactly correct, you have 90% acc on kinetic attacks and 100% accuracy on tech and force attacks. If your spec is heavy on kinetic damage such as a gunslingers Sharpshooter you will need to gear and spec into accuracy.
