I'm not you, thankfully, so please, stop trying to tell other people how they should be playing and viewing this game. It isn't your place.
That cut's both way pal, unless you operate on the assumption that you are entitled to double standards.

Don't take it personally man. I've been playing for 6 months, had to reroll in order to keep playing with actual people and I still love this game and am mostly positive in all of my posts. Because of that positive attitude, I've already had a couple posters say out right that I'm now on their ignore list. Honestly, with the current negative state of the board right now, I'd be surprised if most people saw my posts at all.

Either way, once transfers/1.3 hits, I'm sure a lot of the negativity will subside.

Games that want a long future will be addressing problems that most impact their game quickly, rather than slowly. That isn't being done here. If transfers are what is required, then get them to us, because it doesn't matter what they WANT from SWToR if the game is dying in front of their eyes. It doesn't matter what you expected from the game, everyone, including Bioware, expected a population drop. It was their lack of preperation that left us in this position.

The matrix cubes were corrected after like 3 days, which isn't very quickly for a problem which you paint to be so minor.

Why are so many of you so accepting of failure exactly?

I flamed everyone that said anything derogatory about this game.

So I re-rolled.

The server I re-rolled on, died shortly after I hit 50 (again).

I am no longer flaming the haters as I have pretty much become one.
I don't know about you, but my patience cannot and will not wait until at least June 30th to fix the lack of an MMO this game has turned out to be. It's definitely not worth the subscription fee in my honest opinion.
Don't hate the game. Hate the players.

Such a failed assessment.

Blame the players for being upset about a dying game and leaving it because it is no longer fun to play.

Because it was all our fault that this game is nose diving in the first place, right?

I challenge the notion that we ought to be patient. We're paying for a service. If we're dissatisfied with that service, we should ask the service provider to fix it and expect a fix within a reasonable timeframe. (This would be easier if the service provider gave more definitive timeframes and specific information about fixes.) If we're still dissatisfied, either with the service or the provider's response, we should stop paying for the service.

That's what consumers should do.
The problem with people like you is that you think that one can easily and quickly "fix" a game that a million people claim to be unhappy one way or another. You usually compare the thing to "bad service" in some very different kind of business, where hundreds of people don't have to be involved for months so that fixes can be rolled out. MMOs need a lot of time to change and evolve, but dissatisfied people never give them that,
Think of this: If you will play a Jedi or a Sith, now you will never get to take your apprentice to fight with you in flashpoints, warzones or raids. You will never face together any of the big end-game bosses.

Done with the thread or not you clearly do NOT PAY ATTENTION. The issues that the majority of those who have quit, going to quit, or just have a complaint about the game has very little to do with what there is to do. Yes that is a complaint and yes it is a problem, but the bigger picture of the issue is the simple fact that most of these major bugs should be fixed.

Not just the bugs either no, it is also the lack of communication with the community on THEIR WEBSITE. Even off their site you might find SOME news, but it is hardly relevant. There is no solving bugs and they have poor customer service beyond the likes I have ever seen. BTW their recent podcast was bragging about themselves, bashing the community, oh and thinking of ways to make the game so THEY the DEVELOPERS could enjoy it not their subscribers.

Isn't that exactly what everyone said about 1.2?

That's the point the "haters" are trying to get across to you.

Stay eternally hopeful though. It may pay off some day.

You're right about one thing, there will certainly be less people complaining at the current rate of attrition that this game is suffering.

Nobody to whine means no whining.
