Exactly.

That's the community's fault. They've done everything in their power to encourage grouping: better exp, social points, more loot, promises that missions will go by faster, and you'll have someone to talk to. Players just don't want to group. If you think this isn't true, stop declining my party invite every time I see you questing out in the world.

Yes, you're going to run into a few jerks everywhere you go. But don't assume everyone is that way. Or maybe you're right, maybe as a culture everyone has become too self centered and protective. I remember when video games had human communities, not these soulless wrecks we call 'trolls'.

BioCr@@p Should have already merged servers. The community cried out for this. How do you like it now.

If you're expectations are equally unrealistic as they are here, you WILL be disappointed in TESO, too.

The games that don't will ultimately fizzle out and join the plethora of similar games on shelves, collecting dust.

It's not your fault that there are tons of games on the market. It's not your fault that many games fail to meet expectations when they're inevitably--and rightfully--compared to their competitors. It's not your fault that developers consistently deliver safe games that rehash and reuse outdated mechanics and features as opposed to new and innovative experiences.

Yeah. You're spoiled, but that's good for us and bad for developers. Maybe they'll get the picture and develop a game that expands on what the rest of the pack is doing. I found that game for myself, but it isn't SWTOR.
So basically what you're saying is...since wow has what...4-5 expansions now, every mmo should be released with that much content?

Do you realize how long it would take to make an MMO of that size? Do you know how old WoW is, and how long it has taken them to get to their current expansion let alone the up and coming Pandaria one?

We would never see STWOR or any mmo for that matter. Lower your standards. That game will never exsist.

OP agree this game is not scam like EQ and EQ2. Games like Eve-Online really showed the problem with them two games. In Eve-Online ALL updates are free even expansions. But EQ and EQ2 you payed for quarterly small updates and costly small expansions.

Glad to see companies moved more in the direction CCP took.

Now Dezzi you are 100% wrong. Bioware is do the same as all the other games in the MMO market. You can NOT release the size of a MMO that is over 3 years old. It will never happen since it is too cost and time consuming. Lets saw you release a MMO with all the content wow has added in 7 long years. It will easy take 10-15 years to make the game and have to get an investor will to dish out 500 million for all that time. No investor in their right mind will hold more than 7 years to start to see money come back.

WOW. Is all I have to say.

Did you know sitting for more than 11 hours shortens your lifespan? Probably has something to do with not being active....

EQ used to never be like that. EQ used to be awesome, until WoW came out and had a HUGEt subscriber base post-launch. This made Sony **** themselves, and retool their games to the latest fad. That fad is F2P right now. They have ruined both games because of this method.

Which is why being like everyone else is a bad idea.

One also, after leaving a game they have played for years, will pick up on game mechanics quicker that they dislike than they had in their previous game. People who will continue to keep playing a game after many months will consciously or unconsciously ignore those same game mechanics they quickly pick up in trying out a new game. Less willing to put up with it and quick to unsub.

I can't play another MMO without companions and story arcs. So THIS MMO has spoiled me forever. Everything else is just the same. I see the other new MMOs and I see the samething as older MMOs just different graphics.

Oh no, 6 year old insults. What's next? Biofail?

The community also cried out for more servers and look where it got us. Now that Bioware understands that 98% of gamers have the intellect of a potato they now have more than enough reason not to listen to the community when they QQ server merges. Instead they're offering FREE char transfers to a specified server to populate servers and close down the extra servers that the community demanded for.
