Researching flashpoints before playing them:

I want to research a few flashpoints/ops before I actually attempt them, because I don't know them and don't want to fail and get yelled at or anything.

My previous server was PVE, but it became a ghost-town, with the fleet peaking at about 10 people on a Friday night, so I rerolled to the Fatman, and I noticed the guilds are less laid back, and are more SUPER SERIOUS about getting things done right.

Anyways, I want to research them since I haven't tried them before, but I didn't want to spoil the story. I've only done Black Talon, and it had a pretty neat story, but what should I do? Attempt the flashpoints anyway, or spoil their stories for myself by researching them so I can start out doing good?

There isn't really too many group wiping mechanics in any Flashpoint done on Normal/Story mode.

Just play them as you level up and enjoy them.
