Not showing face mask on my character?

Its not showing the face mask on my character when i put it on. i check to see if i had the the two boxs checked off that would make it not show up and i dont.. Its just not showing up for some reason, does anyone know why this could be? My character talks like i have it on but it doesnt show on his face!? HELP!!!!

what race are you? because a sith pureblood wont display breather masks no matter what, even if you don't have face spikes, whereas a twi'ilek may be incapable of equipping helmets that hide the entire head.

It could be a glitch or a bug of some kind. My Sith Warrior has a breather mask equipped...but lately I've noticed that some times when she's in certain conversations..her breather mask won't show up.

helmets dont show up in "important" Convos, for example when a certain NPC is Kissable you can just go out there and " hey Lets Kiss! *Bonk*", Bioware stopped that
