HM Stormcaller/Firebrand bug. anyone else?

this bug happened numerous times tonight.

when the adds are suppose to spawn, the stormcaller group took 2-3 missile volleys before their adds spawned thus killing the group before they could even get under the shield.

Happened to me. The adds appear right as the first volley smashes your face in silly.

This happens if Stormcaller is casting a Double Destruction, as Firebrand is pushed past the % thresh-hold to cast Defensive Systems. Stormcaller won't spawn the shields until a few seconds after Double Destruction is done.

You will have to either beat that DD cast, or never push firebrand past the % instead of Stormcaller. We have an extra DPS on stormcallers side for this reason, and we just fix the balance when Stormcaller hits 10%

We had the same bug. In addition, there was a delay after the double destruction for the lightning rod to drop. Something changed with that mechanic because it now spawns on top of the group (and there is a delay), so either the tank or the group stands a good chance of getting hit by hit. One strat would be to have the tank stay on the ground, away from the boss, and wait for the rod to drop, but he could easily lose aggro, and it makes swapping bosses harder.

We killed them on hard mode just last night, and didn't encounter the problem. The trandoshans and the shields were spawning right when the bosses begin casting Defensive Systems. You know how Stormcaller casts Double Destruction twice? Stormcaller would skip the second time casting it and automatically begin casting Defensive Systems if one of the bosses reached the percentage of the shield phase.

It's possible you guys hit the percentage right as Stormcaller began casting Double Destruction, in which case the cast would have to finish.... if that's the case, maybe you guys were just really unlucky.

ahhhhh so thats our problem. we've tried doing some research but i guess we all didnt dig deep enough. thanks for the infos. the boss should die our next attempt for sure. i guess we as a guild come to expect bugs right and left because of Biowares previous Ops designs.
