If people want to stand in fleet while they wait for the tool to form their group, then so be it. In the mean time I would be out in the world questing instead of standing in fleet. But right now I have to choose between doing a FP by standing in fleet spamming, or not do an FP and just go questing on the planets. The tool lets me do both.
Those were called online games, not MMO's. And the game right now as we speak has a tool built in that allows you to look up and see other players who could possibly be looking for groups. And you can do all of that by not being on the fleet. It even allows you to see who is on other planets looking for groups. Also in the bottom left hand corner there is an LFG button that puts you in a looking for group mode and you can also put in your own comment for what type of class you are, what FP or Ops you want to run. Technology is so amazing

Yeah, why not have to schedule to do soemthing as small as run a 4 man flashpoint? we already shcedule to run raids, how about we schedule to do dailies, or schedule to log in to the freaking game. WHY DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO HAVE TO SCHEDULE? what do you gain from it, why do you want to make it more dificult for players to do things as trivial as run a 4 man flash point?

Such hostility. You were the one complaining about not having time so I gave you an option of how to make time. It's not my problem if you cannot find a measly 3 other people. Maybe change your tone and people would want to group with you

I still say that an LFG with a X-server toggle would end all this pedantic pandering...
Allix Crowe - Vanguard Trooper -/- Ethavan Crowe - Smuggler Gunslinger -/- Malrath Crowe - Powertech Bounty Hunter -/- Boslo - Jedi Knight Sentinel -/- Jiao-gen Pall - Jedi Knight Guardian -/- Landen Tanarr - Jedi Consular Sage -/- Vaelyth Kinti-kaar- Sith Warrior Juggernaut -/- Oteln'erose'thu - Imperial Agent Sniper -/- Zandur Tuum - Cathar Knight

Yes I know the tool, guess what, even since the beginning it would be me and maybe 2 other people. Nobody used it, and this has been true for other games that also incorporated the same type of LFG /who tool. For what ever reason those types of tools are not used, so why keep on making them? it is a failed tool. Make tools that players actually want to use. This is an MMO, so we should have tools that , gasp, help facilitate people to group in an MMO.
How do you measure the success of an MMO?

lets be honest..

at this point to want or not a LFG system means little

i wont help the game to get lots and lots of people, it wont make lots and lots unsub
if anything will just be a
okay feature if implemented or something we didnt have if is not implement
what this game really need is not just this, hope BW be focus in the real big picture and not only on this LFG tool

while nice, is not the thing will get SWTOR back to the competition, it will be at best just something we needed for low pop servers at best ( witch are many many), but.. to late BW you are making it.. too late, we need more now. sadly

There is no hostitlity, when someone yells at you maybe they are just giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you are deaf, not just stupid.

I dont have a problem finding groups, i have 2 chars in full rakata and working on campaign gear. i dont run flashpoints because i have no reason to.

But im not a moron, i understand what this game needs to succeed and i dont have some whacko delusions that a x-server will wreck the community and im not afraid that i wont feel so "Elite" when alot more people can do flashpoints.

Wow was not my first mmo, i played mmos when there was a community and when there were people that were "elite" anyone who thinks any of that exists in any mmo now needs to get a grip on reality and just do what you enjoy in the game and stop worrying about what other people can or cant do.

Sooo... I take it people here prefer to be pedantic rather than attempt to embrace a solution that caters to both sides of the debate?
