Even if you ignore that 1) Every new MMO has people who buy it and don't sub, or sub for a month then let it expire 2) There are more choices in MMOs than any other time in history 3) When the weather gets warmer .. you know like in April and May every MMO in the world loses subs and they come back when it gets colder ... ignore all that and still SWTOR is what the second largest subscribed MMO in America? Not exactly a failure.

If you say yes to all these answers congratulations you found your game .

The more NO answers you give the shorter your stay.

Don't buy the hype or excuses.

It's your money they have to earn it
1. This is irrelevant. Anyone who expected a 100% retention from the game in the first months was just wildly off the mark. People should have expected a massive influx of gamers to start with, then a dropping number as those who realized the game wasn't for them left, followed by a leveling out of the player support and then a steady climb over later years.

2. Yes

3. Yes.

4. Encouraged and Excited, yes.

5. 392 different ways to play through the game.

6. Yep.

Found my game! Ya'll have fun wherever you wind up. Good luck to you!

What these forums have taught me...

People with good attitudes toward SWTOR based on past experiences with vanilla MMOs or simply their experience with this one, and who reply to the epic amounts of whine on these forums with generally positive statements, are hapless defenders of the company that developed and maintains this game.

People with **** attitudes based on what they see as SWTOR's shortcomings and failures, and who spam these forums with a unique level of vitriol and self-righteous ragequit, are mindless trolls out to destroy the fabric of the community in a game they claim not to enjoy because it continues to be a letdown .

Everyone else is wasting their time, because these two camps are too deeply dug in.

I'm just gonna ROFL and drive around in mah speeder.

Got it. Makes perfect sense. Please see signature.
Logic states that it makes a lot more sense for someone that likes this game and bioware to spend time playing this game and on bioware forums for this game talking about how much they like it than it does for someone who hates it to spend all their time constantly talking about something they don't like instead of just moving on to something they like better.

OMG....four days shy of five months. I had NO idea it was SO close to the half year mark. So you mean to tell me I have been spending almost a half a year saying to myself in silence "It's okay. If I just give Bioware anywhere between 6 months to a year things will be better." *with a tone of endearment* and now that we are close to that half a year mark and NOTHING has really gotten much better.

I am sad that this is looking so terrible for SW:TOR and I am close to have spent six month of my life hoping for better. New bugs while trying to patch old ones and still not fixing major ones is not an improvement when getting this close to half a year of being released people. I for one am that things are looking so bleak.

We dont need to give them time, they just throw out the "soon" word and they give themselves another month, and give free players a free month, you know, too keep subscriptions active.

And if talking to one of "Me" upsets you so much you can certainly find another thread to troll.
Seriously, is it so important to you that you have to come fight "ME" on a forum?
The lives some people live, I guess.
Yeah, I'm the troll. Heck, I actually tend to refrain from posting my own issues with the game simply because I don't want myself lumped into the same group as some of the people in this thread. I still file bug reports and I've left some ideas in the suggestion box as well, but the general board is so full of asinine posts from whiners that I just can't bring myself to post anything negative myself. Heck, I'm probably overly positive mainly because people like Dezzi and Tiia that can't help but to degrade the game and Bioware in every thread they post in.

The fact is, I like the game a lot. Despite it's flaws and bugs. Heck, I played WOW for seven years and there were tons of times I'd have to completely reinstall the game due to patching issues. Things happen. I guess I'm just not the type to come to a message board and spread my frustration on a daily basis because they happen. I mean, for christ's sake, Bioware can inadvertently mess up the glow level on a lightsaber and then have the board flooded with "FIX OR UNSUBG?!?!" because of it. And to be honest, it just seem to keep getting worse and worse. Not to mention all of the people that post nothing but hate posts and then say "I already unsubbed!" when you ask why they're still paying for the game. Those people need to get a life.

It's the end of the world, bro. The end of the world. Vanilla sure does suck. Time to bust out der ragequits.

Christ, just either play it or shelve it and stop trying to prove something.

I can be very patient. I messed up my back real bad back in 2005. I'm considered 100% disabled. I have nothing but time to wait. Bioware will get to everything , Just don't expect it yesterday. In the mean time enjoy the game for what it is and the friendships made during it. I don't agree with everything they are doing but you have to have a little faith in them.
