They no longer need the character/cube info. It's an across the board problem, which means there would be literally millions of cubes missing.

There's a patch planned either for this morning (Thursday), or Friday to replace all lost cubes.

This is beyond pointless!

WHY do you ask us to post pages of information YOU should have in your DB? What possible use is it going to be as even if you manually fix it per post, that leaves out those who aren't on the forums

WHY do you say you are going to fix it in a patch, without us having to individually contacting the so called Customer Service and then suddenly postpone it without telling us how long we will be without our BiS item?

WHY are you not explaining what exactly happened, what you are doing to ensure it does not ever ever happen again perhaps to gear or credits that aren't as easily noticed as missing as the Matrix Cubes?

Why are you NOT UNDERSTANDING that it is exacly this smokeblowing head in the sand attitude that drives players from an excellent game with abysmal QA and Customer Service!?!?!

I know that my voice is tiny little speck not worth of attention from BW, but my patience is running out. I love the game, but this is ridiculous. I know how software development works and the amount of bugs and lack of QA and support in TOR can only be compared to Bethesda and EA Sports games. Nothing else comes close. Do you even test your patches? This bug is so easy to spot - it affects (almost) all players!
I am close to leaving the game (I know you probably don't care but I had to vent a little

They did explain what happened - they changed how mission items are handled and that change inadvertently caused the matrix cubes to disappear since they are mission items.

So they know what's wrong and I am sure they will have a fix soon

classic failware patch. the sequence of events goes like this:
1 introduce a patch
2 something goes wrong completely unrelated to what was mentioned in the patch
3 need to patch again within the next couple of days

how long can the fanbois keep defending this sort of thing? seriously?
