You must have abysmally low standards if you think the MMO mechanics of this game are satisfactory. Tell me, would you be playing this game as it is now, if they suddenly lost the Star Wars license and had to take out all references to Star Wars and all the story content?

If this game was nothing but stripped down to the game mechanics.. would it be worth paying $15 a month for?

Corporations play smoke and mirror games when it comes to quarterly Reports.

Here what they did was put in the free month sub so they could cover the first quarterly report and make the numbers look better than they actually are. If they went with actual active players that actually log into the game and play, you would see that that number is far lower than 1.3 mil.

Smoke and Mirrors, limit the damage of a failed strategy of copying WoW when they should have built a game that challenged their player-base while offering next generation game play.

What do you mean? It is common to talk about the past, present and the future when it comes to investor conferences and quarterly reports. In this case they talked about the current sub numbers, not the sub number that were there at the end of March, but more current then that.

Your signature also cherry picks the information. Because maybe you overlooked what I am about to have bolded from that same statement in the same paragraph that goes along with what I just said.

They need various enhancements urgently

It's called "smudging", not fudging. All companies smudge their numbers some. There are finely developed practices of nudging right up to the legal limits of SOX and not crossing it. There was before SOX as well. It's what companies do, even non publicly traded companies.
