I am curious if any servers have been established as 'THE' RP server. There seem to be many rp servers labeled already but I don't really notice any rp on them. I am hoping to find something like Virtue was for CoH in SWTOR. I'm Legacy level 15 but I am happy to switch for the RP , thanks

There are so-called "super servers" (don't know if that's an official or unofficial title), but really just roll on RP servers and ask around till you find one you like. Different RP servers tend to have different things going for them i.e. the quantity vs quality argument.

So yeah, roll on different servers, ask around, try looking around swtro-rp website as a starting point, often has some good stuff going and the people are nice.

Greetings fellow Virtueite

There's no unofficial servers here, but rather they're all all labeled as such. So while you might find RP on the non-rp servers odds are better on the RP ones.

That said, I don't think any of them have the kinda RP we used to have on Virtue, with the gatherings in the park in Galaxy City or at the Pocket D.

Which server are you on?

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... or at least last December in the SWTOR forums... some portion of the population decided that Lord Adrass was going to be THE place for RP. However, a lot of the largest RP guilds (guilds with 100+ players) ended up on Sanctum of the Exalted and stayed there. I'd say those are *probably* your best choices.

Of course, i'm partial to Sanctum, since it's my home!

Sanctum is pretty friendly, and it's pretty organized. Since there was a good starting guild structure, we've been fortunate enough to have a good atmosphere of cooperation among the Guild Leaders on both sides.

We have lots of volunteers who've done a lot of altruistic work to create fun events and resources for other players.
We have our own server forums
We have our own Facebook page!/groups/359245180777088/
We have a swoop racing league
We have lots of server wide events:
We have t-shirts
We even have a soundtrack!

We keep up IC and OC galaxy-wide channels.

Republicnet is the Republic IC channel, and Republicooc is the Republic OOC channel. These are server-wide. Imperialnet and Imperialooc are the Imperial equivalents. They’re generally quiet, until someone starts RPing and then a lot of folks chime in.

We have “enough” people that there’s always someone around. At peak hours, we range from 1,000 people on the server, and our Republic to Imperial ratio is very even. These numbers have been variable but more-or-less steady for the last couple of months since I started recording who was actually playing. (Survey here so you can see how the numbers were calculated http://www.thethirteenthlegion.torpo...&TabID=3813820) Other folks may tell you that their servers have "a lot" of people or "enough" people. Ask for hard numbers, or go /who them yourself.

Take the Ideal Guild Quiz and set your server as "Sanctum" to see what guilds fit your playstyle: www.tortoolbox/quiz

Do a little homework to see what fits your needs and playstyle best! I'd love to know what server you finally choose and *why* you chose it.
