I can't believe you can say that while playing a game (SWTOR) that plays exactly just like WoW, where as Guild Wars 2 combat is completely different then WoW's /facepalm

No Sunday's have never had anything like a prime time. Even on the harbinger server where it is a high pop, Sundays at the time specified gets slow, compared to .

You want to set a prime time, go with Friday/Sat at 8p specific to that servers time zone. That is prime time as most guilds set their raid times at.

Most raiding guilds seem to have their raid times for the week days, for after 9pm till midnight. Which is why it has always been hard for me to find a raiding guild, it was hard to find raiding guilds that actually wanted to raid Fri night through Sunday.

Star Wars is nothing like WoW. GW2 graphics wise is almost a direct copy. Its the same old tired nonsense every one of those games has. The voice acting sounds like it was done by homeless people. Its just terrible. No wonder they dont charge a monthly fee the game is just horrid. Noone would ever pay per month for it. Looks exactly like WoW I dont care what you guys say. Also plays nearly identical.

LOL so to you all fantasy RPGs are the same? So by that logic Neverwinter Nights was a ripoff of Warcraft?

GW2 is the better game in almost every aspect: world / zone flow; guild features; crafting system; broker system; Pvp areas and warzones; you can actually swim / underwater; world is big; unique startup areas for races; unique main quest line depending on answers to initial questions when creating character.

When I think of Swtor it does have better combat flow / abilities but after playing swtor for 4 months and Gw2 for a couple nights it is easy to see that gw2 is a far superior game in most categories.

I still like swtor but it is fairly small feeling and very repetitive (wzs over and over for war hero gear anyone??? Imp huttball???).

For those complaining about gw2 downtime I lolz. It is B E T A.

It wasn't down at all during my playtimes though which was great so far.

SWTOR needs to get to work if we don't want to see many of the pvpers bail when GW2 does release (no date set).

You have to be trolling, seriously. There was even a picture that showed the skills of SWTOR as compared to the Skills of WoW, and they were nearly identical, SWTOR has the same exact combat and game play as WoW, the only difference that SWTOR has is the storyline and the voice acting. The graphics are way better in GW2 then WoW, extremely better.

All MMO's have the same concept, SWTOR and GW2 aren't an exeption. TOR is like every classic MMO when it comes to gear progression GW2 introduces a few new mechanics but that's it. They still keep the concept of leveling to the max then killing the big baddie. A truly revolutional MMO will come out when they create a console/PC that links directly to the brain(with all senses included) and the controls are only your thoughts. And yes I've been reading Sword Art Online and Accel World too much. But who hasn't wished for this too. A MMO is a world to a larger degree than other games don't you want to just dive into it. Yet it will still keep it's main concept. It's up to the developers to mask it and make it more enjoyable somehow. SWTOR masked the chore of leveling 1-50 GW2 - finding the roles needed to make a group. As boring gear progression is GW2 made the mistake of removing it. The better thing was to make it a lot less time consuming. TOR made it a bit too hard and boring with the time it consumes. And after doing everything nothing to do at all(exept making a new character and exporing it's story).

I appreciate your input Fizbanic, nontheless 22 people, 0 50s at sunday evening 21:00 is still unacceptable imo.

Been playing GW2 this weekend and...

What is good about GW2 is

More sandbox more open less on rails.
WvWvW is AWESOME fun and real opn world PvP winning and everyone loves it.
Game is really immersive and it runs great, unlike swtor in mass battles i dont get any lag,
(so plis bioware tell me again it's my PC and not your crappy servers)
GW2 have these little quests that is really fun, helping farmers etc.
The event system that is everywere and rewards everyone is awesome and fun.
What this event system does is getting alot of people together that swtor fails on
(not talking about last swtor event and only one)
Chatacter creator is 1 000 000 times better then the swtor char creator.
Achievements system is awesome and gives the player something to work for.
In GW2 you can play a non human, unlike in swtor you can only play humans blue red what ever.
Day night cycle.
Combat is faster with better GCD and no unresponsive skills.
Much more background music

What i dont like about GW2

Warzones. Instanced PvP with running around taking flags like any other MMO ia boring and crap
to be honest. But unlike swtor they have a awesome WvWvW system were gear is not king.

What swtor does better.
Raiding
Well Raiding is getting better in swtor and harder (but lack of fixing bugs)
Some companions are really funny and say fun things.
Warzones in swtor is actually way better with the way they are objective based.

Thats all i can think about now.
