In the space mission, Impossible Sector, has anybody ever gotten the bonus for destroying 4/4 advanced fighters?
Anybody I know has only been able to get three.

No, I have not. I have never found the 4/4 for that.

Every single time I do it I get all 4. You have every upgrade and all 4 ship powers purchased I assume? This mission is incredibly easy and a yawn-fest. I just do it for the daily cash and comms

The fourth one is after your first pass at the minelayer. It is one of the little ships off to the right of your screen. After about 2 seconds of shooting at without being destroyed you'll see which one it is.

Fourth and fifth. One stays on right side of minelayer after you pass him(they leave thicker trail behind them), other comes from left, hides to right, then for few seconds comes again from top before you turn around for second apporach to minelayer. Then you get few more seconds to hit that one fighter, as he comes from right.

Near the end of the mission they fly across the screen out in front of you if you have full upgrades the fact that they dont die in seconds clues you in to which ones they are

as soon as you can't hit the minelayer anymore, there'll be one streaking from left to right across your screen in distance by itself (i think 2 normal fighters spawn in the area too), you need to spam missiles at it asap and follow it, and you should kill it as it runs off the right side of your screen. when it does that another one will spawn from the right and fly to about mid-way in your screen and then head towards you. you'll need to spam missiles on it as soon it spawns if you want to kill that one too. and as soon as that one runs off your screen, the 1st one makes another pass at you from head on at the top of your screen. and yes you'll need full upgrade (obviously sans the useless photon torpedoes. )

Yeah, heavy fighters #4 and #5 are flying around behind the minelayer. I actually don't fire at the minelayer at all on the first pass, just to make sure I blow up the darn heavy fighters.
