Do you slam the spacebar during dialogue?

I'll follow along and let every quest dialog sequence play out one time. After that, I spam the spacebar without question...

I have closed captioning turned on. I listen to my main story arc and I read (which is must faster than listening to) all the other stuff, hitting spacebar after I finish reading, while the NPC has still only spoken about half of the dialogue. Best of both worlds!

I spacebar through every quest now, both Republic and Empire after having levelled to 50 on both sides. Even done every single Bonus Series etc (though I dont bother with them on newer alts). Whilst levelling my first Republic character, I listened to every quest and skipped nothing. Same with my first Empire character.

If it's a class story I havent done before though, i'll let the dialogue play out for that.

That, except I also read-space the quest story arcs. The time saved this way is much greater than the time lost in those very few and very rare scenes where some important non-dialogue action happens and I have to escape out and restart it.

I follow the story and listen to everything, even on alts. Remember that the community here represents a small minority of players and is not representative. Forums attract the more hardcore players, which includes an element that does not care for the story content.

Pretty much this unless the quest is really interesting to me. Also I spam the **** out of the spacebar when ever I'm traveling from one planet to another. So annoying watching the back end of your ship 50 times a day fly off.

No, we've just seen the majority of it at least once and don't care to put up with it multiple times. This is mostly an issue in flashpoints.

That, or we can read faster than the dialogue is being read at us.

Though I think the problem is really because they are changing graphics modes between the regular game and most dialogue. I'd rather turn that off.

There are lots of things in this game that waste my time for no reason other than to be annoying. This is something that is clearly highly debatable, so I'd rather options to turn it off/limit it/minimize how it behaves rather than an outright transformation of the system (which I would like to see for some other things).

I listen to all class quest dialogue. I used to listen to all normal quest dialogue but i just got tired of it after a while, they are just a fancy way of saying go kill 10 rakghouls. I'm on my 7th character now, so I spam spacebar and 1 key at the same time as fast as i can. If I ever decide to go evil, Ill slam spacebar and 3.

I sometimes tap the spacebar during non-english portions of conversations, once I have read the subtitles, on quests which I have done before.

When I first started this game, the non-basic conversations coupled with the subtitles caused my brain to hurt. I had problems with what was being heard not matching what was being read. I quickly developed a "filter" and now it doesn't bother me.

Only thing that is a bit cheesy to me is the relatively small amount of "non-basic" lines that get re-cycled a bit much.
